Hello,
I was motivated to order from your company as many where. Your product has great reviews , BUT .. i was surprised to find that you charged my credit card the day of the order .. when that's against the Credit Card policy .. many my not know this but if it takes 30 days to get your products .. they will charge your card and use your money for the full 30 days then ship..

Thats not the way it works .. we are not the investors in your company .. its not right to charge if you cant deliver .. you should ONLY charge the Credit Card when your ready to ship the product..

Thats part of your business practice is jut wrong..

Then just wait until they're in stock to order. You'll never get one that way but lifes all about choice.

The Chuck (which is another PV) is a build after order, The T1 = same way...

You pay for things all the time before you get them like Cable TV, Internet usage, Ebay Purchases, Amazon Books, Whataburger, McDonalds, Sonic and even Girl Scout Cookies.....

I'm new here and new to vaping, only been analog free since early october, so i don't mean to step on any toes. However, I work in a small Brick and Mortar type hoe audio store. Because of our size we can't stock all of the speakers and Amps, Turntables, etc. that we carry. When someone wants to order something, we take their payment up front, because staying in business is all about cash flow. We provide a valuable service to our customers, we offer them something (time spent auditioning, advice on interconnects, system compatibility, phono cartridge choices, all around service etc.) that they can't get from a larger better stocked store.

I've been planning on ordering a prodigy since just after they stopped being in stock, and as soon as they go on preorder i will order one, because These guys really seem to care about their product, answering emails quickly, even polling people here as to the future of products, and everyone i've talked to who has bought their product loves it.

tl;dr:

if you don't wanna pay first, don't. But if your dealing with a small seller and a specialized product, thems the breaks.

Cordless,

What is your problem?!?. You wanted a refund two weeks ago because you were tired of waiting and I'm sure you got it. Why are you flaming Puresmoker because your impatience got the best of you? You say they have bad business practices, but you got your refund...no questions asked. If you had hung in there like the rest of us, you would have one now and be enjoying it...instead of whining. I ordered my Protege on September 5 and it didn't arrive until October 3. Yeah it took a long time, but good things come to those who wait. Waiting is a fact of life in the world we vape in!

Ok...rant over.

God, that is one bleating, bratty piece of writing.

You were warned that there was a multiple-week delay before you checked out after your purchase. Did you really assume that they were going to complicate their accounting practices and security procedures by storing your credit card number until the day the unit shipped? It's hard to imagine that level of naivete in an adult, so I have to ask: "Are you being deliberately obtuse?"

Even if you had not been given fair warning that there was a wait involved, do you really think it would be a good thing for PureSmoker to not be able to use the money for your order as working capital?

Hint for you: the current administration's stimulus packages and bank bail-out have helped us avoid Great Depression II. There is ten percent unemployment in this country for the first time in decades and yet, in pure smoker, you find a small company that is *obviously* successful in engineering, marketing and selling an affordable luxury item that *isn't* made in China. Credit is super tight right now and you're ticked off that it appears that a small businessman *might* be using your money as working capital—even after you were warned there would be a delay *before* you bought the thing?

I'm sorry to break the news to you but the world is an imperfect place. Santa Claus is a pagan fiction. When you eat your cake, it doesn't reappear on the plate later. The Easter Bunny is *dead*.

When all is said and done, all anyone can say to you is, "we're all in the same boat as you so sit down, shut up and caress your Protege when it arrives—in all probability by sometime next week."

Your post is just wrong. WTF is your mental malfunction to put up such an idiotic post when your not buying one anyway. These people people don't need clowns like you trying to sabotage their business/reputation that they work so hard at with totally ignoramous thread titles and posts like this.

You ordered the item and then cancelled cause you wanted the product evidently in a time frame you knew in advance could not get and have a beef with them? I just don't get it.

If I were them I'd be glad you cancelled cause you seem to be one of them types that just looks for problems to .....,cry and complain about.
Good Riddens

That's not against any "Credit Card Policy". If they state there's a 6 week wait, and charge your card immediately but ship within the 6 weeks, that is normal. Search "mail or telephone order rule", which IS the "credit card policy", read the FTC's explanation, and know what you're talking about before you post something defamatory like your original post.

Here's a link to get you started: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/business/ecommerce/bus28.shtm

Hello,
bla,bla,bla,bla,bla

You know, when you look at your profile it says "cordless has not made any friends yet"

No suprise looking at your post.

I ordered something from a company recently and my credit card was charged. Before placing the order the website said to allow "x" amount of days for shipping.

There is plenty of info to alert you to the approximate shipping times and updates on delays.

I work on automobiles for a living and you'd be the unreasonable customer I'd ask to not come back so it didn't cost me any more money.
