So I sold my ego twist unit with Vivi nova slim tank to my buddy a couple weeks ago, as he needed a new setup and I was taking a break from vaping..
i bought a new twist and new nova slim setup a couple days ago and started vaping it last night. Let me note, I've become a fan of cutting the wicks in half on the coil heads to conserve juice and because I tend to tip my PV anyways.
well, I tested out all the coil heads and keep getting that burnt plasticky taste from them. My buddy told me to try sucking up the drip tip every few capes to "saturate" the wicking under the coil in case it was dry. While this proved effective at first, it keeps going back to the burnt taste after a while. We even checked the coil under a lamp to see if we could see ant hot spots, but we didnt see any.
Now these are all brand new heads...what are the odds that they're bad?
Its curious, because my old nova slim never had this problem; and I cut the wicks on those and vaped in the same manner as I am on this new one. I'm vaping the same juice, at the same voltage as I was before.
any suggestions?
