I use 80/20 pg/vg or 50/50 depending on where I get it from. One blend I have is minimal PG. I don't notice any difference from any particular liquid. I can vape the same liquid all day and feel clear. And then the next vape the same liquid and be completed congested, hacking away.

I've never been congested from vaping. You can imagine throwing an antibacterial on inflamed skin right? PG/VG are antibacterial. I don't think it's unfathomable for it to cause an occasional tickle or itch while you're tissue is still in disrepair from smoking.

I kept waiting for the "clean out cough" that everyone talks about, because I smoked heavily for many years. The opposite happened for me - I quit coughing at all. My morning cough just disappeared almost immediately, and hasn't returned.
Same for me. Still waiting for that clean out.

I quit smoking 2 weeks ago - I used to smoke about 1.5 - 2 packs per day for 11 years. I have not had so much as one cigarette and I have been vaping regularly since. When I first quit I had a very loose deep cough for about a week, hacking up lots of gunk. The past week or so, I've had a very tight chest, dry cough, and the feeling that I have to keep clearing my throat.

Did a lot of you experience this after quiting smoking? I'm a little anxious just b/c I hope it is the not the vapor that is causing this.

going through that now.. its the lung clearing.. been through it once before but relapsed into smoking.

Be sure to get lots of fresh air and dont try to hold back on the coughing it will only last longer

If not comfortable with the cough (if it gets really worse.. ) see a doctor..
