First my string of bad luck...
was gifted a supposed awesome clearo DOA
BOUGHT ITASTE 10s kit, and accessories extra clearos, nothing would screw i into it, partial credit
won a ego c upgrade, never recharged after the first use.
bought an ibtanked, dropped it on the third day of owning,
cracked my evod with an ejuice.
mvp2 stopped working when my carto slipped out of the tank while driving. Owned it threee days.
bought an ago it turned on and wouldnt turn off and never recharged.

ok all this happened in three weeks.

here i am with only a couple of egos and my itaste vv3.

so i need another vw

should i get another mvp2?
how about the smok sid?
also looking at the vamo...

all seem similar in price.
not sure if the batteries will be better for me.

i dont know, who has some opinions?
Thanks in advance.

Good lord!! You must be the one they wrote that song about "born under a bad sign, been down since I began to crawl, if it wans't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all!!"
I've got a Smok Z-mini that is built like a tank, that might work for you. No much to tear up on that mod. And you do have to be careful with any of them. This was printed on the bottom of every page of the owners manual I had for the '56 Triumph MC I once had: "Rough handling renders the parts scrap!!" I've never forgotten that little phrase, struck me as sound wisdom at the time and still does!!

I havnt been to the only shop ive heard of, i have a two year old whos giving me hell lol. She is currently not sleeping during night hours.
I loved that mvp2 but i know of no one who can do anything for me. I did dispise how hard it was to press the button though. But that was the only negative.

Stay clear of the vamo huh. I will head that advice!

My mom says i just have a dark cloud over me lol.

You know 20 years ago i had this gypsy approach me while living in spain and said that my energy was too bright. I had a white light. No color. And that i would always attract powerful negative forces. I brushed it off as that petson was prolly a freak... But lately i get it. I totally get it. Im gonna look into the z mini righty now.

Thanks for the feedback guys. This blows lol

I personally really like my vamo. Only bad thing I've really ever heard about them is that they are made from a little cheaper material and the threading can get stripped rather easily. I've also heard that since the V3 and on that has been mostly fixed. There are also suggestions of spending $1.75 on an ego to ego adapter...that way you are only hurting the threads of the adapter when changing tanks.

Don't know much about SID but one thing I did like about the MVP is that you can use it to charge phone or other external devices. The thing I don't like about it is that the batteries aren't replaceable so once they go through the approx 300 recharge cycles or whatever those batteries manufacture specifications are you have to toss it and buy a new one.

The other thing I like about the vamo is that it has variable wattage as well as variable voltage. Some of atts are 1.5 ohms and some are as high as 3.0 ohms. When using VW I don't have to fiddle as much or think about what the voltage should be to give me close to same vape. You still need to adjust slightly for different juices but I don't have to do any math or calculations when trying to figure out what voltage I would have been at when switching atties.

PS a lot of people don't like the swirl designs of the vamo v3...I do. But you may want to look at the stainless steel designs of the V4 and the V5 if you don't like the V3 look. It's a bit confusing as to the differences but I think the V4 is using the V3 chipset in a V2 body. And V5 is using V3 chipset in a V2 body as well but also reintroduced some mode that was available on V2 but not on V3. Don't think it matters on that mode thing because everyone tells you to use the average mean method for determining voltage...Gets a bit tricky.

So if I were to recommend I'd say V3 if you like design. V5 if you don't like design as it has all the features...do your own research it's been a little while since I've looked at all the differences.

With your string of luck I'd definitely recommend a mech. There are several that can be had for around 20 bucks. You could add a gen 1 kick for 25 bucks straight from evolv or get a clone for less than 15 other places. Then if the kick fails or acts up too much you could just take it out and still have a working mod. The reliability of owning something that always works greatly outweighs the lack of ability to adjust voltage settings.

I've got a SID, MVP 2, and an eVic..........MVP and SID are the 2 I switch back and forth from. SID is pretty easy to use, I set it on the voltage setting. eVic has been kind of a PITA. I use PT2's on all of them. Leakage? Just grab a q-tip or paper towel and twist around inside the connector stem. You can also use a bit of alcohol if you need to. The SID is pretty indestructible, unless you put the battery in wrong?
Maybe someone should invent a protective covering that still allows you to press the button?
