Have you tried soaking the tube, cap and oring in lemon juice? I don't remember if that was suggested or not but that has worked for me for getting old flavors out of attys and cartos.

Yup i tried

PGA
LEMON juice
iso alcohol
420 cleaner (usually works insanely)
vinegar
soap
Boil

I still have it(tube, cap and oring) sitting in vinegar from the other day then im gonna let it sit in water for a day . It really leached into the rubber . Right now the reo is all good again well accept im using a thinner 1/16 tube i had laying around and no oring but i put in a new bottle .I also replaced the insulation on the firing pin which also smelled ad put a new bottle and newly drilled cap . Iv havent used it yet though iv just been using a carto on it since yesterday and my Provari .

Very light mixture of bleach and water (1:25 ratio in drops). Let the parts soak for 20 minutes, rinse under hot water. let them sit and dry for a couple of days. Use the same bleach mix to clean the inside of the Reo. Rinse well and let dry. I spilled cinnamon juice in one of mine and thought it was doomed. Like you, I tried everything. The light bleach mixture took it out... but the trick is to let it completely dry after rinsing. The oxygen will help to remove the bleach smell if there is any.

If you don't want to use bleach, try vinegar and baking soda mixed. Put vinegar in a bowl, add parts, add baking soda, and swirl it around. Make sure you add plenty of baking soda because you want the bubbling action to go on. After it settles down, swish it and let it sit...keep repeating the swishing about every 5 minutes for up to half an hour. Rinse clean and let air dry.
