Hi, everybody, I need help. I am a newbie (never had any experiences with DIY. I got 2 30 ml bottles of liquid (Camel, Murboro 24 mg) from a local vendor that mixes the stuff himself. He says it is a 50-50 PG/VG mix, but the problem is that they are both so sweetie, especially the camel. I called him, he said that this is how it is supposed to taste! No returns! So anyway, after a big fight and promising not to deal with him again. I am stuck now with the 2 bottles (30 ml each). So is there anyway to get rid of this sweet taste? Distilled water? adding pg/vg? Any help?

Thanks

Hi Fawzy,
...Welcome...
...This probably won't be the last time you find yourself with juice that isn't agreeable.
...You might choose to simply set it aside, if that's an option. There may come a time when you run out and you'll be happy you have something to vape, or you will find someone in the opposite situation and can trade.
...The ideas of changing the taste, I will leave to others more familiar than myself. Is adding menthol an option? Or spicy flavors? These things may offset the sweetness.
...good luck, and all the best. Cheers, ~M

You'll find ways to use it. Add it to a non-sweet flavor for a little kick. I've bought plenty of juice that I didn't like, but have cut it with others to mask the taste.

You could always try to sell or trade it.

IMHO, I don't really think is fair to ask for a return just because you don't like it. I would suggest buying small bottles of new stuff so you can taste before investing in larger quanties.

If the vendor mixes it himself, it may need to steep for a while. I would set it aside and find a different juice to use for a while, then go back and try it again. If you still think it's too sweet, try mixing it with other flavors. I keep a few 3ml empty bottles to mix stuff in just to try out. Also, as heateris says, buy smaller bottles when trying out new flavors. You will probably encounter quite a few juices that you don't like, and its better to get stuck with a 10ml or smaller bottle than a 30ml bottle.

I asked him for a return coz I have tried Camel flavor from other vendors before and they were never that sweet. That's all :) So I thought he mixed it in a wrong way

I understand. I've found that a lot same named flavors taste different from different vendors. It seems like RY4 is different from every vendor.

A newbie lesson learned... Something akin to what we all, it seems, have to go thru in the adventure called 'Vaping'...

Would recommend, as others have, to 'never' get a big bottle of any flavor you haven't tried first -- always start with a small one (5ml if available) to see if you like it. Most reputable Brick & Mortar (local storefront) operations that sell their own juice mixes will at least let you have a sample-vape of the ones they suggest for you.

Best thing, IMO, is to browse the Forum and select a few samples from any of the premiere Juice suppliers mentioned here. For a nice selection (though not custom made ones) I'd suggest checking out http://www.ecigexpress.com/.
