Hi everyone,
Sure appreciate this forum. I quit cigarettes almost a year ago (after 20 years) using a 510, now an eGo. Love it & so happy to be off them! I had a hard time in the beginning trying to find something to vape. Specifically, I was getting tightness in my neck and swollen glands, sore throat, lungs hurting & eyes watering. I cut out the PG but found a lot of VG-only liquids gave me problems too.

I sure wish there was more action in the VG subforum, but it looks like someone only posts there 1 x per yr! lol. I've been vaping almost strictly AVE Boba's. No reactions to any of AV's liquids that I've tried. Ecopure juices I tried did not give me any problem, but the other VG liquids I got from Cignot did. All the VG juices I got from AmericanliquidStore gave me reactions. I would just like to find something else to vape! I know everyone is different so maybe no one can really help me with this.... Just hate spending so much $$! Has anyone had this happen?

i know vaporstation, who has some awesome awesome tobaccos with real extract, carry 100% vg versions of their tobaccos..

bounty hunter from nitelitevapor which is becoming very popular, has a 100% vg version...

vaperite has a few 100% vg...bombay vaping you can customize ratios.

hope that helps a little

You left out an important part - what level nicotine?

Nicotine is a skin irritant and medium of high amounts in 100% PG can cause sore tongue, throat, sinuses, mouth, lungs

Most people vape various blends depending on their vaping method. Most US juice makers offer at least one PG/VG blend and many offer every 10% VG blend. Atomizers can use any blend as long as it is not so thick that you vape it faster than it wicks (or you'll have to thin it). I find my stuffing cartomizers work well longer with 20% or less VG. Tanks and reservoir cartos like 20-30% VG but may be able to use some higher Vg if the vendor thins his liquids, and 100% PG may be more likely to leak from these.

Sounds like you're alergic to a flavoring of some kind. Since Ecopure works fine for you with no problems why not just vape their flavors? With neck, thoat, eye and gland issues it's not worth the potential problems. You have a vendor that works.

You're right it does. I wish I knew specifically what. Not trying to be a smartypants, but if I wanted to just use Ecopure I wouldn’t be on here asking about alternatives. Their stuff is good, but I don’t really like it all that much. If I can’t tolerate something else, then so be it. I just gotta try & see I guess :)

I agree with Boodle. It seems like a flavoring issue, not just a PG issue. I'd be tempted to stick with the ones that you know you don't have an issue with like Ecopure. I know it's a little pricey but might be worth it in your case.

Or try Vapor Station. They put labels on their bottles that list all of their ingredients. I love that their juice comes in glass dropper bottles too.

You might want to try DIY at some point.

Edit: I didn't see your post about not liking ecopure.

Probably the simplier juices the better for you without a lot of ingredients. Like some of the fruit. That's basically flavoring, nicotine and base.

I tried between 12-36mg of various liquids, with differing amounts of PG/VG. It became clear to me that ANY PG was an issue, unfortunately. Oh how I wish it wasn't!! 24mg seems to keep me happy so thats what I've been using every day w/ Boba's.

oh and t answer your question, i cant vape anything with a lot of cinnamon, or pear, i find both very irritating to my throat and sinuses, so yeah, i get it....

That's interesting, one of the 1st liquids I tried was Cinnabomb. Whoa, now there's some cinnamon! I liked it but couldn't do that one. Don't know if it was the cinnamon or the PG. Maybe both. Only way to know would be to do an all VG cinnamon if there is such a thing. Maybe I'll narrow it down eventually :)
