Day three is getting interesting. Still have lots of batteries and I've made new coils
For my 4 Odys. Something to pass the time without TV or internet. Made my morning triple espresso with a gas blow torch. Thank God I have lots of trees on my property if you know what I mean. My wife and daughter are in california visiting family since last week so its just Duke and me. He loves my new body odor and Duke and I are bonding well. I'm starting to smell more like Duke every day. Later, we're going to go chase cats together...
I need ice! Cant have a proper Whiskey on the rocks without it

At least you haven't lost your great sense of humor buddy. When Duke starts avoiding you it's time to find a shower or a lake;)

Took a proper bath at a McDonalds 30 miles away. I love Ray Krock more than ever now

Like we say here in México:

Un baño de avión? (en las alas y el motor)
A "Plane bath"? (on the wings and the engine)

O un baño de torero? (orejas y rabo)
Or a "bullfighter bath"? (ears and tail)

21 days without water!!!!!!!! Maybe I have to rethink about this cyclone adventure yard. You have too many problems in USA from weather sometimes

When it comes to outages I think water out is the worst! Sorry about your peachtree. Hey...I live in the Peach State and conventional wisdom here says if you have a stump try a graft...what've you got to lose? Ultimately you'd want to find some other variety of peachtree to graft onto yours but I don't see why you couldn't try to graft it with itself. Just don't let that stump get dry, get some good moss, and somekind of wrap and give it a shot...you never know.

Hey torqueguy! I forgot to mention re: grafting. you have to make a long diaganol cut on the tree you want to graft too and on the piece you want to graft to it. Then you place the long cut on the graft against the the long cut on the limb, stump, or what you've got, and then wrap it with some kind of moss. The wrap could be anything porous that's why I mentioned moss. I don't see why gauze or some king of perforated soft plastic, of the mat variety wouldn't work. Good luck!

I looked at grafting yard but the tree snapped at the base. Broke like a matchstick, not even a stump left, must have been a huge burst of wind and the thing flattened like a pancake. Thanks anyway

Heard about the storms by a friend here in ky. Sorry for your situation. Let me know if there is anything that I can do to help out in your time of need.
Thanks Rus, got power back around noon. I have this new found appreciation for running water. When I was young, we would hike the Appalachian train for up to 10 days at a time. It never bothered me before but I guess as you get older,,,

Oh boo! I'm so sorry.

I like your avatar and quote and must reply, "I never met a face I didn't like but in your case I can make an exception!":)

Before the military I lived on the Appalachian trail for 4 months. Dead of winter. One time I went to sleep with no snow and over night it dropped 2 foot. My tent was all kinds of bowed in... Bad times in my life.
