Been vaping about three months and upgraded a few days ago from a E-Go VV battery / Evod 2.0 ohm setup (also have a Mini Pro tank 2, which I found unremarkable) to a the following:
Bagua clone
EFest 18350 3.7 volt 900mAh protected battery
iClear 30B tank
stock 2.1 ohm dual coil.

The decision was based on the design and size of the mode. I don't want to carry a huge phallic symbol around. Battery life was not a concern initially, as I'm near a charger more often than not. I'm not a cloud chaser, but was hoping to see stronger vapor production.
Here are my issues broken down; bear with me as solutions to some of these may be basic knowledge:

1) the iclear 30 B had a bad coil seal and leaked profusely. Not a slight leak, either - I lost .5 ml of liquid within an hour - it leaked all over the top cap and into the contact pin. Replaced coil, problem solved. Also bought a Kanger Aerotank with a 2.0 ohm dual coil, but have not used it on the mod yet.

a) Both of these tanks generate acceptable vapor on the E-go VV at 3.7 volts, but noticeably less than my Evods with 2.0 and 1.8 ohm single coils. 4.0 seems to be the sweet spot on the E-go.

2) Battery: This battery seems to discharge very quickly: within four to five hits, it just stopped producing vapor I've charged it three times in the past two days for about 4 hours on a 3.7v 450 mA charger. Do I have the wrong charger here?

Today, I'm letting the battery charge for 5 hours, but I am frustrated with the performance so far. Vapor production was near disappointing, and the way too fast battery discharge just makes it more frustrating. I'm considering a second battery as a backup, but have not seen a 18350 with a voltage rating higher than 3.7 volts - do these exist? Can anyone shed some light on what I should do to get this up and running as is should before I drop more money into it, or do I have unrealistic expectations?

Thank you>

Sounds like a battery or charger issue. The battery should charge to 4.2 ish v,,, if you've drained that battery below 2.5 ish v or overcharged it a time or two it is probably toast.
You need a way to check battery voltage so you can tell when its time to charge.
Most decent battery chargers used for vaping purposes monitor the charge cycle and stop charging when the battery v reaches the optimum range.
My chargers usually fully charge an 18350 in 1.5 ~ 2 hours.
What charger are you using ? ( brand name & model )

It's a no-name 3.7v / 450 mAh plug in charger.

What is the voltage of the battery when you put it in the charger & when you take it out?

Batteries & charger is the last place to try to save $.
I am not familiar with the charger you have, just me, I wouldn't trust a no name charger.
Nitecore i2/i4, xtar, pila and efest luc are all good chargers.

It was the charger; i got the original one replaced and have ordered a Nitecor in the interim. I also replaced the 2.2ohm dual coil on the Aerotank with a 1.8ohm single coil (flipped the dual coil's o-ring upside down on the chimney) and am much happier with the results. Next up is looking for a 1.8ohm dual coil for the iClear.

Again, thanks for the input. :D
