I've read the Koran also.. Allah is not the same God as the Christian God, but most Muslims would beg to differ because they've been 'told' it's the same God. Here's my 'reasons' for concluding Allah cannot be the same God.

Allah states (in the Koran) 'these instances' when it's permissable to lie;

1) to protect yourself
2) to protect your family
3) to protect your country
and
4) to a Woman

5) Jesus was just a Messenger/Prophet.. not the Son of God as God has no sons or daughters - (They do believe He was born of a virgin named Mary.. but they call her Mariam.. and Christ was born in the desert (not in town) and Mariam ate figs from a tree for sustenance during this time.

6) Jesus was NOT crucified, Allah just made the masses 'believe' he was being crucified, it just 'appeared' to be that way, when in fact Allah just 'called Jesus up to be with himself' not allowing Him the humiliation of being publicly crucified.

There's more but I think you guys get the picture. Our GOD does not lie, by omission, deception or otherwise. These 'truths' from the Koran are enough evidence for me to realize Allah and Yahweh are NOT the same God at all.

Well, the way I see it....keeping it simple.....allah is a moon god. Jehovah God, Lord God Almighty CREATED that moon. Seems to me that the Creator is always greater than the created. Works for me! It's so simple a caveman could understand!
