Back to the original subject of PC....PC is just another way of shutting up people that have a brain. I am sick of PC. If it doesn't jive with the Word of God, it's out the door. Ya'll know me as a quick and straight to the point person......PC was created by satan himself to throw doubt on behavior. It's just another divider. Try to be PC as a 747 is being flown into your building by some peaceful Islamic fanatics, that the United States was behind. That dog don't hunt. I believe that just because we have an ethnic man in the Whitehouse doesn't give anyone the right to make more excuses for racism. I've lived in the south most of my life and racism wasn't taught in our home, nor was it taught in school. And the illegal alien problem, oh my goodness. Don't get me started. MY GRANDPARENTS came to America from Russia and Poland. THEY LEARNED ENGLISH. This PC garbage will ruin the United States......along with 50,000 other problems we have. Other than that, the PC stuff doesn't bother me. :)

thoughts or meditations?

Thoughts or mediations??? [heavy sigh] Now if you had asked for rants or ramblings... I might have something. If I have issues with Christianese, you can imagine what I'd have to say about "Political Correctness". :)

Please do not bring suicide bomber into this. It is such a cheap easy and wrong minded way to handle an argument. They are not following the teachings of the Qur'an. They are following the teachings of political and extremist figures who have manipulated the word of their God, who by the way is the same God you worship, more on that in a minute, for their own gain. The Muslim religion is for the most part peaceful, however it is condemned, for a very small percentage of it's members exhibiting extreme and horrific acts in it's name. There are many televangelists who use God's name to make millions of dollars, and live in unbelievable wealth and luxury. There are also those that believe that all Muslims should be killed in God's name. I am sure you do not agree with these Christians, just as most Muslims do not agree with suicide bombers.

Back to my argument that you worship the same God, blasphemous I know, but true. Judaism was the first religion which wrote about the Christian concept of God, sometime before the events of the Hebrew bible, or Old testament were finished, Muhammad, the Muslim prophet was born, some members of the Jewish faith split off and began worshiping Muhammad in addition to God, and turned to him to finish the Qu'ran. Later, Jesus was born, and many members of the Jewish faith split off and began worshiping Jesus as their prophet in addition to God, and Jesus finished the Bible. The Jewish faith still believe that their prophet is yet to be born, and worship God alone.

Although this is not common knowledge for a reason I do not understand, it is fact and cannot be argued, no church denies this. Please if you disagree research this yourself before attempting to argue without any facts.

I realize that I'm a little late in coming to the party... but I believe it should be said that...

First. I think using the suicide bomber to express her point was a fine example.
Second. Your history of Islam is really off. Muhammad lived in the late 500's early 600's. To say that he lived and/or was worshiped in addition to God and that Jesus was born after Muhammad is historically absurd. If you are going to state that something cannot be argued and you are going to challenge someone to get their facts right, perhaps it would be a good idea for you to at least know the historical context of your accusations.

Third. The Quran does promote the killling of Infidels. It's a simple google to find many examples.

PC is the thing that is going to eventually outlaw our religion. Someday in the future, Christianity is going to be illegal because it offends some. You watch and see, it's going to happen.

Only fools go along w/pc. Whatever the bible says is wrong - IS wrong. The beast is always at work. Anyone who doesn't like a nativity scene can look the other way. Our country was founded as a christian nation and anybody who doesn't like that can leave. Without God in our country we will fall, we are blessed as a nation because of that. Same as when the church is raptured and the presence of the holy spirit is gone, there will be chaos and hell on earth.

Do you realize that there is a contingency who would have laws on the books to not allow preachers/pastors to preach/teach on certain Biblical topics? These will fall under the umbrella of "hate crimes".

That is because of the rapid moral decay of this country. Everything evil is good so seems the way our country has gone. Murder unborn babies, do anything to save the murderer, let homosexuals marry and protect the pedophiles. Our country is lost to evil and there is no turning back. The sooner Christ comes the better.

I believe that all of the major religions, Jews, Christians, Muslims, all believe they are serving Almighty God, the creator of Heaven and Earth. There is only one creator.

But there is only ONE way to get to God and that is through Jesus Christ, he is the only mediator for humanity w/God

I don't know about the PC part. That term implies some things that "we shouldn't talk about" or "have tolerance over".

People perish for lack of the knowledge.

But there are many ways in which comunication can take place from the downright offensive on one end, to the polite and compassionate on the other. Both of those ways can speak the Gospel, but I think one displays it better than the other.

We can't be silent and still fulfill the great commision. I have a feeling that when I'm truly humble, and at "a place" where I'm not able to be offended by words or actions, then I will be able to speak the truth without unnecessarily offending.

Some will be offended regardless becasue the Gospel is foolishness to those who are perishing, but we can make it worse than it needs to be if we are not careful and deliberate in our approach.

The flip side is that there are times when it is right to preach boldly which can offend. But far more Christian's than not use/claim righteous indignation as and excuse to be unrighteously angry and sometimes down right mean. Which isn't preaching Christ.

Beautifully said, and true.

Matthew 10:22 "You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.

Why would we be hated? Because we are told to speak the truth, not all is ok, not all roads lead to heaven, not all worship is acceptable or correct. A good example of this is the people who strap on bombs and kill innocent people in the name of Allah.......yes, that is some people's form of worship........can you even imagine how He feels about that? It's difficult to even think about.

We are told to speak the truth. We are told to pick up our cross and follow Him. We are told that we will be hated and persecuted for it, we were told that the world will hate us. We were told that not everyone will listen to the Gospel and that we should shake the dust off our sandals and move on to the next person.

Jesus told us ahead of time what it would be like, and He wasn't wrong :)

Yes! So true! Amen!
