As with so many people, I've had ball bearings disappear when opening subtanks - the ones needed for the air flow detents. A Google search found the size for the Subtank Mini, 1.5mm, but much to my disappointment and astonishment, that's not the size used in the Subtank Plus. Ironically, the size needed for the bigger Subtank should be smaller - go figure. Google searching turns up empty for the Plus version.
I was then thinking that there might be standardized size points like 1.5mm, 1.25mm, 1mm, and such. But what I found were all kinds of sizes like 1.4mm, 1.3mm, 1.2, etc. I already ordered 500 of the 1.5mm (thinking they were universal for Subtanks), but don't want to do that for every size.
I don't have anything accurate enough to measure such sizes, but more importantly I don't have anything to measure anyways, as I only have 1 Subtank Plus - and the ball bearing for it has long since gone away to go play in the carpet.
So does anyone know the mystery size needed for the Subtank Plus? Kangertech isn't answering this question on their own forums.
