Hey everybody, I am about to take a trip to Dubai and all of my research on the supposed ban of ecigs in Dubai has led me to conflicting reports. While it says that there is a ban, I have not found if this is current. I read about a group of Vapers there, and about people going through customs and getting out with their ecigs still in their possession. I just would like to know if the ban is related to the sale and distribution of such products. Will my ecig get confiscated with a resulting fine, or am I okay to bring it? Last thing I want is for my Vanilla and kayfun to go bye bye

Smoking is banned in United Arab Emirates. As part of that, so are ecigs. From what I know, anywhere ecigs are illegal the enforcement of it is inconsistent. They could choose not to enforce the law with a foreigner or they may not know what it is if you aren't using it.

In a strange way I see it as reassuring that a black market exists where ecigs have been banned.

After my trip to Dubai I found out that if you bring in a personal ecig and a tiny bit of juice you will be fine. As long as it doesn't appear that you are a distributor of any kind. And vape respectfully as we all know how to.

EDIT* Also, I was using a SMOKE-E Mountain VANILLA with a KFL+ and no one seemed to even care or notice. Except for the exceptional smell that is.
