Even Max VG can have lots of flavor.. I know, I can make it all the time for ppl.. You just have to use more flavor to compensate than with Max Pg

well yeah max VG is the maximum VG you can use while retaining the flavor you want. I have seen max VG being 80% VG and 20% PG.

100% VG is a whole different story though

If it was the local store in my town, I could pop on over. The store I bought this from is an hour away. I may just end up mixing this stuff, with some other flavors, since it has no taste. That should help ease my throat issue too. Does this throat issue go away in time, or do I have to get more VG, and a little PG, with extra flavor shots?

I have heard people getting over their PG allergy gradually. my fiancé couldn't handle 50-50 juices because of the PG but now she can handle them fine. Seems that your body adapts slowly. I don't know if its proven fact and this is just from what I have seen from some people.

The owner told me no steeping was required. He said it was perfect to vape, as soon as it was made. I thought steeping changed the flavor a bit. But if the flavor is virtually not noticeable, it would still make a difference?
Sorry but that will likely never be the case with pure VG juices...they need to be "steeped"

There are two things that improve the flavor--either time or heat.

Either put them away for a few weeks or warm them to 150 (or right around there) for a few hours.

It helps the flavors mix into the VG

I don't know if you have plastic bottles or glas just be carefull with not overheating the plastic bottles. I made the mistake of having my oven at 160ish and my entire bottle warped.

but heating it does help alot since the VG pretty much turns into a very thin liquid.

I wondered about that myself. I thought it was awesome that they didn't require steeping. I spent 50 bucks on juice there, and the only one of the three I'm happy with is Boba's Bounty. The other two were good in the store, when I tried them. Oh well. You live, and learn. Still stinks, because I have spent way more than I should have on this. I quit smoking the night of Oct 27th. I started vaping on the 31st, or the 1st...now I can't remember which for sure. I have gone through a lot of e juice already. One I find what I like, I will buy more of it, when I can. Then I will let them steep. Right now I haven't been vaping long enough for any of them to be steeped.

Well you can try the heat steeping thing. hey you can try it and be happy with the result.

I remember you saying that there were younger people running the store instead of the owner. maybe the youngsters(welliamonly26soyeahyoungstermyself) didn't know what the hell they were talking about. or they messed up the mix. There are alot of reasons why something might of gone wrong.

So I wonder why don't you just order juice online instead of having to drive a hour and spend a ton of money on some "home mixes"?

If you tested the juice on a dripper then you would have got the most flavour possible from that juice. The same juice in a clearo could taste very different.
The heat of the coil, type of wick, chamber size, airflow etc will make a huge difference also.
Not much use to you now but in future you should try a juice in as near to the same device as you use.
If your flavour is a tobacco type then it will definitely improve after steeping. fruity flavours not so much.

True but steeping is required. Look at Phillip Rocke's Grand Reserve juice, it's 80/20 VG/PG. But he ages it for 2.5 months in Brandy barrels. And with my bottle I let it sit for another 48hrs uncapped before I vaped it. The flavor is amazing, but it takes some time.

I drove there because I didn't want to buy juice without tasting it. I can't blow a lot on vaping, and I need to get something I really like. Plus it will keep me from going back to cigarettes. These two guys were no more than 22-23 years old, if that.

Never heard of that. Like I said though, I am verrry new to this.

:( Okay, so I have been vaping for a week now. I have one bottle of 18mg nic, most are 12, and two are 6mg. I can deal with the 6mg VG, and it doesn't give me the sore throat, like the 50/50 juices do. But the max VG has maybe 10% taste. I like the taste of liquids, and the vapor. (I am not a vapor freak, I don't need massive clouds of vapor) I chose the max VG because I wanted to see if it gave me a sore throat. I found because it has no taste, I am vaping it like a fiend. I hear you can get flavor shots, but how many do you need, if you use max VG? I think I have wasted my money on two of these juices I bought yesterday, which is really depressing. I think at this point, I think the 12mg nic is best for me. Now and then the 6mg is good, but if it had taste, I would like it much better. The VG has no throat hit. I don't need a strong throat hit. Any recommendations? Also, do they charge you extra for extra flavor shots?

Not changing the subject but have you thought about your sinus? I was having the same no flavor problem and blaming it on the juices. Friend told me that the sinus problem I have will kill the flavor. I thought he was nuts but went home and did a sinus cleansing. He was right. Juices are stronger. The information you got above makes loads of sense to me.

Thank you for sharing with me.

Well now that you mention it, it is possible. Ragweed is still going on around here. I have been sneezing, and my nose has been running some. Today my throat is really bad. I think it is from drainage, and vaping. But maybe vaping didn't bother my throat after all. This evening I could not even taste the Boba's Bounty very well at all. I am not sure what to make of this. I have been using some saline spray. I also gargled with salt water today. My throat doesn't look good at all. I am going to have to keep at the gargling, or I'm going to have to go to the doctor. We are about to have a cold snap come through this week. That should stop the ragweed from pollinating.

I have also read about some tanks having trouble with high VG. If it isn't one thing, it's another. I had trouble with my Aspire tank today. But I think changing the coil in it may have solved the problem. I think I am just gonna mix some of that high VG stuff with some other juice, and see what happens. Once my throat clears up, maybe my taste will come all the way back. That would be very awesome if it did. The vaping was becoming very unpleasant with the PG in it, for me.
