This is kind of what I did before but it wasn’t nic salts. How will I know what to add and how much?

A couple things. first, use an eliquid calculator:

E-Liquid Calculator - Best DIY Vape eJuice Calculator

Second, you find a recipe.. you will want a very basic recipe to start with, something that is only three flavors. There's a DIY forum here where you could find some.

BUT - as DC99 pointed out, you can buy max VG ejuice and just add the correct amount of nicotine to it if you like, that way you don't have to mess with flavorings.

I’m allergic to PG. I have tried to make my own with all vg and flavor but does not taste right. I can’t find max vg over 12 nic. Where can I get bigger nic in max vg?
Are you giving the diy juices a steep? You should try one shot flavors until you get a feel for mixing. Since I've started mixing my issues with commercial juices have all gone away.

That is what I tried. I went through 2 500ml bottles of VG juice trying to accomplish a flavor to unflavored juice. It was what I thought would be simple. Put vg in a bottle and add the concentrate it did not work it was either no flavor or way to strong of flavor.

Were you buying flavor shots? Or just flavor concentrate?

There's a very big difference.

I linked you to flavor shots, which are pre mixed flavorings - recipes the manufacturer put together that just need added to juice...

Flavor concentrates are single flavors that require a recipe to use, and a recipe will be a few flavorings and their percentages which you follow much like baking a cake..

So if you use a flavor concentrate by itself without other additives it will usually taste bad.

But if you use flavour shots, which are pre mixed recipes, then it should be good..

So did you use the flavor shots I linked you to? (You told me you had used those, so I just want tto make sure it was THOSE, or something else, that turned out poorly for you)

Can you link to exactly what you did use so that we know what you used?

I’ll have to look it was flavor in a bottle like peach tea or banana bread. I got them from wizard labs that’s where I get my vg juice from as well. Juicy Orange Flavor Concentrate by CAP (0.33oz)

I think Heather's heavenly vapes sells max vg or 100 vg juices in high nic, perhaps their purity line? Most of my juices are from them because of their range of nic up to 36mg. Although I vape their nets and no more then 70vg, I'm pretty that's what their purity line is all about

Oh my goodness, thank you!! That is exactly what I am looking for. Do you know of the flavors are bad if I did the 100vg?

I can’t mix it with the pure VG it tastes really bad. I have wasted 2 big bottles of 100vg trying.

Rule 1 of DIY: Always experiment with small batches. Only use large batches once you have the recipe right.

As far as your DIY flavors tasting bad, if it tasted too weak, you needed more flavor (many flavors need 15-20% to taste right). If it tasted like soap or chemically, then you used too much flavor. It takes some experimentation to get them just right.

I buy zero nicotine 100% VG or Max VG from Heathers Heavenly Vapes periodically. Her flavors are on point (very good..very very good)

Purity : Heather’s Heavenly Vapes, Premium E-Liquids Hand-Crafted in the USA

But if your wanting high nicotine ejuice, she doesn't use nicotine salts and the high levels of nicotine can irritate your throat... you can get used to it, but you will have a sore throat and/or cough until you get used to the nicotine..

That said, you didn't use flavor shots. You used concentrates which are intended to be mixed with other flavorings and additives in recipes..

An ejuice recipe looks like this:

EnticeMint by @AngeNZ

2% CAP Menthol
5% CAP Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
5% CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream
0.5% CAP Super Sweet

Cap is short for the brand Cappella flavorings.

Your favourite recipe

However, if you want flavor shots, which is pre-made recipes in a bottle, those are able to simply be added in the correct quantity..

FlavorTudes Flavor Shots - Pick Your Own Flavors

^^ the work of mixing flavors together to create an ejuice flavoring has already been done, and you just add it to your unflavored ejuice base in the quantity recommended for the size your making.

so, the reason your ejuice tasted bad, is that you didn't use a recipe to make a proper flavoring out of the concentrate you purchased

Hey all, I want to kick cigs and start to vape. I have been trying since 2006 since this has came out but I always cough, watery eyes, and runny nose, and intense sore throat.
I have recently tried max vg 80 VG and 20PG and no issues except the 3mg and 6mg do not do anything for me! I found Naked 80/20 and that is a 12 but still does not curve my craving like a stinky would.
I have bought 100 VG and flavored concentrated to add to the VG for flavor and it does not taste right.
Please where can I find a max vg. all vg with flavors and high nic. I smoke a pack and a half of Newports and I have been smoking almost 20 years. Started at 11 AND now 37 I want this habit kicked but i don't want the feeling of being deprived.
I have good set ups and RTA that can handle the juice as well.
Welcome and glad you joined.

If you're dead set against DIY, Mount Baker Vapor (MBV), also has most flavors where you can pick your nic level and VG/PG ratio. Max VG is an option. Not sure how high you are looking for in nic strength, but most go at least up to 24mg. This is freebase nic though, not salts.

I would still think buying some max VG juice you like at the store and adding some 100mg/ml nic (or nic salts) would be your best bet if you have flavors you already like. If you do the calculations once, or ask for help here on how much nic concentrate to add to a size of store bought juice, it's really easy. Just dump your store bought juice into a bigger bottle, add your nic, shake to mix well and you're done.

I haven't tried 100 percent, but have went as high as 80vg and its extremely tasty. I know they are a bit more expensive then a lot of others, but it's a real quality juice. I absolutely love their tobacco nets, especially dragons fire. If you like coffee's, mocha java smooth is excellent . I use to vape some fruits and desserts and all really good.

Yes, I got the max vg in 24 nic from Heather’s heavenly vape and I die! My throat is so raw, it hurts so bad. Does this go away? I don’t know what to do! I want to put down the cigs and just vape, but now I don’t know what level I should do. Maybe I’m not pg intolerant and it was just trying to adapt. I damn near choke trying

What vaping set up are you using?

What delivery device / 'tank', with replaceable heads / coils?
Or are you using an RBA of some sort?
What resistance / Ω are the coils or heads you're using?
Mtl or Dtl inhale technique?
Airflow setting? wide open or restricted?
What power device?
What power levels are you using / have you tried?

24 mg/ml nic is going to be harsh in a subΩ high power type setup, or, if you're trying to Mtl a setup designed for Dtl (not moving enough air through it), or, if you're using too much power, or, if you're vaping with scorched or burnt wicking,
