Basic Carto Question

So I just got a box of Bouge 3 ohm dual coil cartomizers (pretty sure their dual coil since the box doesn't say) from the shop down the road. I've been using the Smoktech Dual coils for the last 2 months and I'm use to the crackle that comes off those cartos (as I'm sure anyone that's gone through a few of them would be). So I loaded up my Bouge, slid it into my tank and started vaping and I got this weird sound coming out of the cart. The best way I can describe this sound is almost like a vibration but that's not quite it, its like the vibration from a power tool like a jack hammer instead of like a cell phone. I'm not saying that it sounds like a jack hammer but that the sound is pulsing like that.

Now my question for anyone that's use to using Bouge cartos is that normal? It seems to be vaping fine and I've used it on my SVD on a couple of different voltages so I'm sure its not the device. Any ideas if maybe I just got a weird carto and should pop a different one in the tank?

EDIT: These are Bouge F-16s, not sure how much of a different that makes.

Is it buzzing like a rattlesnake? I imagine it is. Rin is correct that it's pulse width modulation. The device actually does it all the time, but you only notice it when the pulses slow down enough to be distinct. I can really hear it when I'm using LR dripping attys. I'm sure someone who knows more about the specifics will chime in and explain why it happens. In the meantime, it's nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the response guys, I'm gonna have a quick vape now that the batteries totally charged and switch between the and the smoktech to see if I can explain it better.

EDIT: Ok, a rattle snake would be a good example for the sound. I also noticed the pitch of the sound charges depending on how hard of a draw I take. It appears to be putting out as much vapor and flavor as its 2ohm smoktech counterpart which on the same device doesn't make that sounds so I'm stumped.

From my experience the boges put out more vapor than the smoktechs. I use boge single coil LRs on a mech and they crackle and hiss like a rattlesnake, i freaking love it. And yeah the smoktechs arent even as close to as noisy, oh well!

I didnt know boge had dual coils either, if they have a dual coil thats around 2ohm id love to try one. May give me a reason to use that kick

Does it do it all the time or is it intermittent? The SVD uses pulse modulation or whatever, so the current fluctuates.

Also if its the same thing the Vamo does, your voltage goes up and down which may be causing it to sound more like the jackhammer noise you mention. I actually didnt like the Vamo for that reason. Much happier with an Evic for VV, or better yet a straight up mech with a proper ohm head for 3.7-4.1V~

On the mech mine basically sounds like bacon on a frying pan but much quieter obviously
