This is the reason I don't buy anything off Ebay!!!!!! That is just wrong to take advantage of people like that, but now that I am thinking of it, sounds a lot like the classifieds section here on the forum.... and I don't buy anything from there either!!!

edit... Didn't see this on the first glance as I was thrown off by the $200 price tag, but at the bottom of the description this was found...

You will not be disappointed with this product at half the cost of original clone. Thank you :)

To each their own, but personally prefer shopping on ebay for stuff like this because I know that I can use my paypal. I hate shopping on other sites and busting out my credit card number. Even fasttech is tolerable due to paypal. Im aslo on a tight budget and cant be shelling out 100 bucks for a premium product like the Russian. That ebay one I bought looks like it will last me years of rebuilding.

How do you find the build quality, threads etc? Is the deck SS and are the screws SS? I messaged the guy about his sudden increase in price so I'll see what he says.

sorry but the classifieds here at ECF have a strict no profiteering rule for items that are still production, if you see an overpriced listing it is only because none of the mods caught it yet or no one felt like reporting it.. i find wicked deals all day long and my CC hates me.

Hey Thrasher, I was just using that as, (kind of), a comparison only... I'm sure you can look at my profile and see that i'm not a verified member and never will be because the rules that they have in place for the classifieds section have been bogus since the day I joined the forum. I know that up until several months ago they had some people that would get in on certain buys from modders only to come here and make a profit and the forum was all good with that and from what I have read on occasion, still are to some degree... Its all good and i'm glad you and others get some of those "wicked deals"...

I find the build quality to be very good, I have 2 clones and that one from ebay takes the prize for quality. The threads are smooth and good if you know what I mean lol.

I understand the Russian is a 1:1 copy of the Kayfun 3.1, however the 91% is not a 1:1 of the Kayfun Lite. The R91 does share the vast majority of parts with the Kayfun Lite except for the drip tip (it uses the same screw in style drip tip as the Kayfun 3.1 and has a screw in adapter that allows for a 510 tip) rather than the 510 of the Kayfun Lite, and the base, which utilizes an external adjustable air flow where the Kayfun Lite does not have an air flow control. However, it would appear that in response to the Russian 91%'s adjustable air flow Kayfun has modified their base to have a bottom mounted adjustable air flow and it has been dubbed the Kayfun Lite+
