Gooday mates... i've started to brew my own liquid by using flavor which is not known in the market(exp. TFA CAP WES LORR etc.) . I extremely avoid using Oil based liquid which will have a separate layer in the final mixing. I've been trying a few method to brew my own juice and i met alot of failures as below :

Before i proceed the target use for every 30ml (PG 60 - VG 40)
Sucrose 15% in 30ml PG / 4.5ml Sucrose + 25.5 ml PG
Coolen 15% in 30ml PG / 4.5ml Coolen + 25.5 ml PG
Method use to brew is by Gram and no nicotine used.

- smells goods and 2nd hand vape able to smell the type of flavor.
- Once i exhale all out there's no base taste or smell of the flavor in my mouth and taste blend.
- after a few puff it start to have baseless taste but the smell is still there.
- method of steeping use is warm bath, breathing 20min den sealed for 1 week.

By using the flavor from my supplier, at first i have tot its too pure on flavor (strong flavor) and proceed to re-brew the flavor with pg again as in (20% Flavoring in 30ml PG / 6ml Flavoring + 24ml PG).
But still the flavor lost it sense on 2nd vape.

At the moment, im lost to proceed for any other methods and would need ECF Veterans for enlightenment.

i did try to brew using coffee beans (method of steeping use is warm bath, breathing 20min den sealed for 1 week)
and its quite good as in the base flavor stay in mouth but a bit concern on caffeine.

Snip......

I think I understand your questions. I think the first challenge you may have is your choice of flavors/components (Sucrose & Coolen) for your mix. I use a lot of Flavor Art flavors (100+) which are generally NOT Oil based and do not separate in the mix if the bottle is properly prepared. The same is true for TFA. Both company's practice full disclosure so why not conform my thoughts directly with each Company. On rare occasion I have seen some reference to "oil" but that's always clearly marked/noted in the description and it's certainly a very small number. It might be time to start over via this simple tip:

Download the free Ejuice Me Up calculator which includes dozens and dozens of recipes for your mix and start experimenting with industry standard flavors from FA, TFA, CAP etc.

Good Luck

:)
