Basic USA Made VG Liquid Made Exclusively for CigNot

I ordered from cignot some samples, here is my experience...

Tobacco - Liquid was so thick it would not drip, had to "mash" it into the cart fiber, vapor was unbelievable but tasted like a fog machine, if you have ever been in a night club and walked right by the fog machines, this is what it tasted and smelled like. If you like vapor and your taste buds are shot, this is the juice for you. Horrible after taste...

Juicy Peach - Had a really minimal peach flavor, again tasted more like a fog machine.

Coffee - Not much of a coffee flavor, should have label "fog juice".

It took me dousing my atty in alcohol to get the fog machine flavor out of the atty. I even tried to mix some of my other juice from a different vendor to try to give it some flavor, but all three have found their way to the trash and a waste of money IMHO. Sorry cignot, I won't be buying juice from you. I could have gotten a big bottle of fog juice from the hobby store and it would rival these flavors.

I ordered samples from Vermont Vapor and here is my experience:

Blackberry - descent vapor, not good for me, I really tried to be fruit flavor smoker, but I guess I am just not.

Sugarhouse Blend - good vapor, way too sweet, like sitting at IHOP taking .... hits from the syrup rack. Not a fan of the sugarhouse blend.

Tobacco - not what I remember tobacco tasting like over 35 days ago, good vapor but not a good flavor.

Menthol - I was never a menthol smoker although once in a while I could stand one, now I remember why. Had good vapor production but too much like smoking a bottle of Absorbine Jr.

Cafe au Lait - this was a descent flavor, good vapor, I may consider buying this one, but only this one.

Vermont Vapor has a lot of sweet flavors, but why shouldn't they, they ARE in maple country. I would imagine the sweetness runs through their whole lineup. They send you a maple candy with your order, I will say this is the best maple candy i have ever had! I didn't see the candies on the website for sale, but they should.

Guys this thread is SPECIFICALLY for the BASIC range of juices, not other suppliers or other juices even from the same vendor. Its confusing if there are a bunch of other reviews in here. I take some blame myself for adding into the non BASIC flavors side track. If you get something you dont like thats cool but please make your own thread or tack it onto a general review unless its about BASIC.

Its all good man, youre new and its hard for you to add a new thread until you get 15 posts but the juices you reviewed from Cignot that you hated aren't from the BASIC range either lol
Probably confusion over the word 'basic' - there are basic juices, which we'll call standard ordinary type juices for clarification, and the BASIC range which is really good.
There is a cignot thread (not ecopure though, thats another one they carry lol) its kinda buried though :)

So this thread made me pull out the Ahneeda Fruit 25mg sampler bottle that was stuck in the back of my juice stash. 25mg is WAY too strong for me so I cut it half and half with VG/H2O and gave it a go. Great stuff! The flavor is definitely diminished by the "watering down" but it is still a lovely very soft orange and tangerine vape. I just reordered a big bottle of it from the Lovely Ladies of Cignot in 12mg, which is a much more appropriate nic level for me! I also ordered a small bottle of Jimmy Puffit and On Top to try out.

I literally tried at least 20 different flavors and never found anything I liked besides EcoPure (Regular & Rich).

Then I came across BASIC flavors and they blew me away. The cleanest flavors out there. They just taste so clean and pure and nothing I have tried in the past 6 months even comes close. I own and have tried them all except Cherry Cola, which I just ordered. I had tried a cheap cola flavor VG before and it sucked which is why I was hesitant.

Here's a brief summary of each in my words:

Jimmy Puffit
- Key lime pie. It's so amazing that I literally imagine myself tasting the pie crust after each puff. Other times it tastes just like a Margerita (especially on weekends - hmmmm, is this my subconscious telling me something?)

On Top - pure cherry. I love actual cherries but despise artificial cherry-flavored anything (to the point of nausea). But On Top tastes far more like a natural cherry than artificial cherry flavor. I, too, was spoiled on Traverse City cherries, cherry wine, cherry juice, etc. my whole life and this flavor still gets my approval. I love mixing this one with jimmy puffit - cherry & lime goodness!

Forbidden Fruit - It's definitely unique. It reminds me of juicy fruit gum only a bit more flavorful. Melons with a hint of banana.

Ahneeda - Tastes like oranges. A tiny bit on the bitter side. If you like oranges, you'll like this.

StarPuffs - did not like. But coffee or chocolate vape lovers definitely will enjoy this. Just not my type of flavor but I wish it were.

My favorites are Jimmy Puffit (#1) and Forbidden (#2). But I love having them all around for a change of pace. These flavors have set the new bar for me just when I was becoming sick of throwing away money on trying to find a flavor that didn't taste cheap and artificial. EcoPure went from being my only flavor to being my backup in case I run out of the basic liquid.

Did anyone try Jimmy Puffit and Ahneeda Fruit with 12mg? How is their throat hit? I tried cherry coke and forbidden with 12mg. Cherry coke was just perfect for me with nice but not too strong throat hit, and Forbidden had great taste but lacking on the throat hit. I do enjoy a nice little throat hit...

All my BASIC liquid is 12 mg, so I have tried them both. Jimmy Puffit has a little bit more of a throat hit than forbidden. Ahneeda is on par with forbidden, so with ahneeda you may want to try 18mg. Jimmy Puffit - harder to say. Cherry coke is the one flavor I haven't tried so I am not sure how it compares.

I'm lucky enough to have a retail store near me and I always pop in every now and again. I like their Naked juices but at times they can be quite thick for my Ego-C. Once they're primed they vape pretty well.

I like the On-Top cherry and have tried the Toffee and the Plum. Still not as tasty as my go-to Johnson Creek Island flavor (VG). The Naked flavors dont linger on the tongue and that's kind of what I'm searching for. Someone mentioned an RY4? I didn't notice it on the list they have in the store but will check it out next time I'm in.
