So I tried cignot.com's Cherry Cola and Starpuffs. I will break them each down.
First and foremost I have tried lots of liquid and I keep going back to Ecopure, I like VG liquid primarily, I have a slight reaction to the PG in most liquids. The exception to this is the marlb prefilled carts that I get from Janty or Cignot... which is one of my favorites, I have yet to find a good duplicate for. Anyhow my everyday vape is Ecopure Rich low. I now cut my liquid with a VG distilled water base as well, which has had drawbacks in reducing flavor and taste.
Cignot.com just started carrying the "Basic" liquid it comes in a few flavors and they seem to be adding more on a regular basis. The Basic liquid is VG and Nicotine and made in the US according to their website. In addition the ingredients are right on the bottle VG, Distilled Water, Alcohol and Natural Flavors. It is advertised as all Natural where possible on the website as well. You should also know Cignot ships faster than anyone I have done business with. Their stuff almost always arrives in 2 days I am in Utah they are in Chicago. That is good, and keeps my anticipation to a minimum.
So the review, I dripped a few drops of the Cherry Cola in my eGo, the cart still had some Ecopure Rich in it. I was overjoyed because the liquid is a clear one and only has a hint of color to it, it in fact looks like a lighter Ecopure.
Taste- It was truly Cherry Cola I almost could taste the fizz, it is sweet especially on the exhale. Very little to no residual taste in my mouth once the exhale is complete.
Throat hit- I do not like throat hit much and this is in the acceptable range for me which I would classify as medium
Vapor- Clouds of vapor, especially with the eGo
Linger effect- Unlike Ecopure the cloud does not seem to linger as long in the air which is good for stealth vaping
Longevity- This is the only area I would say is this flavors downfall, I can vape this most of the day but find I want a less flavored liquid at times, it could be an all day vape for some, but for me it is a good half day or more, but not all day vape. Great aftermeal vape though, lunch, breakfast and dinner.
I have cut this liquid with Ecopure and I am vaping it most of the day, it is an enjoyable sweet vape.
Starpuffs few drops of the dark liquid in my eGo
Taste- As advertised this one is mocha blend and when they say not too sweet they mean it. It is just a hint of sweetness. The coffee flavor is apparent both inhale and exhale. More chocolate comes on the exhale.
Throat hit- Was stronger than the Cherry Cola and still to my liking
Vapor- Everything you would expect from a great VG liquid... clouds
Linger Effect- Same as Cherry Cola did not linger like the Ecopure, I actually have only seen the long linger from the Ecopure.
Longevity- This may be an all day vape for some, I like it in the morning and late evening, great with a cup of jo or a rum and diet coke
In conclusion most of the other PG liquids I have tried taste like perfume, and some other VG's have not been so good either, the Basic though performs very unlike its name. It is a nice vape and if you want flavor and good VG this is the way to go.
