Easily the best 5v mod I've owned. It's jam packed with features and will vape for days on end!

EDIT: Just finished watching (and listening). Excellent review, Basil! You express yourself well and your high energy captures and sustains the viewer's attention. You made the techie stuff (with the multimeter and the watts calculation) understandable to someone like me.

I think I have the best sense I could have – short of first-hand vaping it – of what it would be like to own and use the Tekk mod.

I loved my Tekk mod. The only thing I didn't like about it was that any leakage from accidental over dripping would seep right into the body of the device. I eventually ended up frying mine by not carefully reassembling it after taking it apart to clean the juice out of the inside.

According to Chev who built this one, it's sealed off inside, so juice shouldn't be able to seep in. But I still worry about it happening!

Unfortunately, I just heard that Tekkeon is not making the Mp1800 which the Tekk Mod is made out of. Their new unit will be about the same size and have the same functions...but they added an extra USB port and raised the price.

Best get one of these at this price while you can!

Been eyeing one of these, I don't have a 5v mod at the moment.
I really like that fact that I can charge my iPhone in a pinch too.

No worries...you were absolutely correct!

Mark resides over at VaporTalk Forum. He's on helluva a guy! A locksmith by trade, he makes wooden 14500 tube mods as a hobby. Each one is unique - whether we're talking about the wood used or the design or inlay. Each one is also numbered. Mark gives them away after he builds each one. They are all handmade and gorgeous.

There was rumor that Mark would stop building them when he got to #100, but last night he gave away #103. It's a truly great sight to behold: someone spending their time and love of vaping, along with their craft to be given away. Mark is truly a great and generous man!
