Hi folks

Ok, so my first batch was steeped for a few days, and decided "meh" let's rock.

It's not what I expected, but it's far from un-vapable (is that a word? if not, copyrighted)

Need a bit move flavor (used 5%) so dropped another ml of flavor in and it's back in the cupboard.

Nice hit, nice vape production, but the taste isn't quite there yet.

I heeded advice to start low on the flavor and add to get the desired result, so guess this batch might end up good.

As a newbie, pouring my "first" liquid in my tank was exciting.

good to hear that your 1st attempt came out well

I try all of my new mixes (3ml test with no nic) after I shake them well (tobacco flavors do need to steep some) and then I pop them in the ultrasonic cleaner for three 8 minute cycles and call them steeped and done

I start all of mine at 10% or more total flavoring on my fruits and bakery mixes and will go up to 20+% on some recipes

You're more patient then I. After my mix I shake it like a madman and test away. When I like it I'll make a 10ml and whatever steeping happens is simply because I havn't gotten to it. I do find most of my mixes are 8-12% flavoring which surprised me because I use no pg but I'm getting great favors. Enjoy the ride!

Vaped Batch #1 today after about a week of steeping, shaking, airing and general frustration of being "patient"

AWESOME.

It's not brilliant, you would probably hate it, but it hits the throat, has nearly the taste I'm after, and it's mine

Just sitting with my kit and going to replicate the two recipes I've settled on for my go to vape, going to burn through this and make four 30ml bottles that can steep for about four weeks (first batch will see me through until then)

More PG/VG and nic base on order (planning ahead)

They need to put a warning on this thread - "More Addictive Than Vaping" - it's awesome. Can't thank you all enough for the advice to get to this stage. Now to buy every flavor going

If I mix something that has good potential, I'll go on and mix two 30ml bottles as I have very little patience. A couple of nicely warm baths...shake and vape one and put the other one back. I have about 5 different mixes I'm alternating between and 5 of the same sleeping/steeping/blending...whatnot
