I'm not sure if it's just me or how I'm dry burning. But when I dry burn The coil ether no longet work or they are less efficent then before. I burn them for 2 - 3 seconds I give it 3 quick shots then let them cool and give them 3 more quick shots of 2 - 2 seconds. What am I doing wrong. These are kanger T3 coils.

I also have this thing called the plunger

The Plunger - MyFreedomSmokes.com

That I've adapted to fit the t3's that I found work the best to clean them. I've had one t3 last 6 weeks so far and it's just starting to fade.

Search "My atty resurrection method" ... works like a charm! I have 306 atties that have literally lasted for years! The trick is to burn orange-hot, stay away from white-hot. The hotter the better without popping. Just keep an eye out for hotspots that may be present on a gunked up coil. The trick is to burn all of that funk off and then scrape/rinse away the ash. I use a tiny needle to scrape. My method is rinse, blow it out, dry burn until the gunk is cooked off, being careful not to get too hot, then rinse or scrape the ash/burned coil funk... if you choose to rinse the ash away, dry burn it again to dry... I'm literally cleaned and vaping again in ~2 minutes!

Good luck : )

Also, I found that we had a US cleaner under the bathroom sink, so I have all 6 (8-13) bottled up and in there vibrating away for a while? 30 mins tonight, but longer tomorrow. I need to read up on US steeping...do you use water also?

Use water in your UC and you'll need to steep them a good 3 hours. Keep the water warm. If it cools to much use fresh hot tap water to warm it back up .The UC action should keep the water warm to the touch as long as theres not to many long breaks in between cycles.

#8 was mixed on Friday 6/1 and from sitting around it hasn't changed much, and I am really short on patience. I added .05ml of mocha to the remaining mix today [3.5-3.75 ml total) and that immediately improved it.

I mixed 5 more batches tonight... 3 are ready to vape right away (9,10 &11). #12 is a coffee unicorn but I feel like I am getting closer as long as I can wait to let it steep. #13 is capable but feels very dry on the tongue to me...might need to sit a few days.

Care to recap on your coffee experiments. Maybe I missed your results on the coffee mixes. How would you discribe the flavor of the cafa mocha. I have a cuppachino vender juice which is my first coffee flavor I've tried. I did'nt think I would like coffee flavored vapes but I was plesantly suprized. Now I'm thinking of trying to mix my own. I'm not looking to clone the cupachino just trying to get some ideas on how to proceed, what flavorings are good and what to stay away from.

Don't really see how your method would work for me. I use the kange T3 replacable bottom coils and you really can't see the coils to tell if they light up orange or get to white hot. Unless I'm missing somthing as far as how to disassemble them to see inside it's really just a crapshoot to tell if there super clean or not after a dry burn. So I just use (3 to 6) 3-5 second burns rince and hope for the best.

You remove the Pipe and the top(flavor Wicks) Clear sight to the coil/wick - Dry burn in 3-5 second burst until nice orange glow and White coil. Rinse and dry. Use caution with Flavor wicks or get some silica. they fall apart easily. I use tweezers.

I'll have to take a close look at these. I wasn't aware they could be disassembled. Learn somthing new every day.

Just to be clear on the ones I use look at this link (Nice price too.).

So... the first coffee was coffee clear mixed at 2.5% with 1%em...total garbage...

The second coffee is 1% coffee clear (.05 ml), .1ml EM and .15ml sweet cream. It smells very good after sitting overnight. It spent about an hour in a us cleaner.
It dripped OK the night it was mixed...haven't tested it today...

The mocha is basically 4% mocha and 8% sweet cream. It was/is very heavy on cream. I've added an additional .05ml of mocha to the mixture that remains. Red ripped it and its good, but nit perfect.

Thanks
Geo

Yep,They can be taken apart the way crxess says, The metal pipe is press fit. rock it back and forth a little and it will pop out. You can rebuild them as well.
To re assemblem the metal pipe allign the pipe and get one side started then apply pressure with your tweezer or something and it will press back it. Don't forget to put the silicone hat back on and your good to go. If the flavor wick gets too nasty you can replace it with cotton or silica wicking.

The coffee clear is that the super concentrate "coffee" they sell over at VZ. If so I just ordered some of it as well as a few other SC's. The reports are at 2.5% it's way to strong and they recommend like under 1%.

I'll be doing some mixes with it hopefully this weekend. I started a thread regarding the SC's if you care to follow it.

Excellent great to know. I'll be yanking one apart this evening and give it a go.

This may sound nieve but can you expand on "Use caution with Flavor wicks or get some silica". I suspose you mean silica wicks. I've herd the term but afraid I'm unfimilure with it. Can you explain what to do with them and where to get them.

DeeDee,

Thank you for your explaination that clears a lot up for me. As I explained in my previous post I would like to know more about these silica wicks.
