The rating doesn't mean that much, because it entirely depends how often you press that button! That's why for some people the same battery will last all day but for others it's gone in an hour! If you know you kill a 650 battery in an hour, get a bigger one. And then get spares so one can be charging while you're using one (actually, several spares!). You can get good ego style ones for less than $20 (unless it's from a B&M), so it's not a huge investment compared to analogs! But this is also why people move on to bigger and better mods...

Ok well i am looking at this Joye MEGA 1000mAh eGo-C 2 UpgradeType-A Electronic Cigarette Kit [JOYEEGOC10002U] - $89.99 :

would i have to assemble the parts? and would you suggest any cases that will fit a bigger battery like that? and also is there any cases that will hold my eliquid bottles on the go? Thanks

Yes, you'll have to put together the atomizer on this kit. I use a pencil case for to carry my 1000mAh eGo. It looks like this:

This kit is slightly cheaper: http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

The topper/atomizer things can be interchanged. The polycarbonate plastic clearomizers either are disposable or have heads that you can buy to change them. They last anywhere between a couple days to two weeks or more depending on the juice. Most don't like these clearomizers and quickly advance to something made out of metal and glass, such as the Kanger Mini Protank 2.

Ego just means threading. Most batts these days are 510 threaded and some, like yours are also threaded to accept clearos with ego threading. "Invented" is a loooong story but for ease of explanation, Joye invented it but others now copy it. Joye also invented the Twist. Now others, like the brand you have, have taken to calling their variable voltage "Twist" Smoktec is one of those like yours. In my opinion, they're inferior products and you well might be experiencing the consequences of that. But, you also have to figure what resistance atomizer you're using (ohms) in the clearomizer as that will affect how long your charge lasts. For instance a 650 mah battery should last about 6 and a half hours but if you're using a low resistance atty it can cut that time in half... add chain vaping to that and it could be a lot less. In your situation, I would contact the vendor and tell them what's happening. If they're a decent one, they'll make it right or at the very least explain what's happening to you since they are the ones who included the clearo (atty resistance) in the kit.

Well, supposedly, it's about an hour per 100mAh. But that all depends on the voltage and juice and other variables. I can use a 650mAh all day - while driving to work, at work, and driving home from work, then part of the evening but I don't vape more than 3ml a day. My 1000mAh will last a couple of days, though I never leave home without it being charged fully. I always carry two of everything with me when I leave the house. It all fits into my pencil case.

I'm confused now, now im not sure if a 650 MAH is supposed to last an hour or around 3ish hours. Volt meter? where can i get one of those at?

Joyetech came out with the name eGo. It's now used as a generic term for the pen like devices. It looks like where you bought yours from, they have both the authentic Joye ones and some generic ones too. Check this link: Ego 650Mah Batteries | Goodejuice

Actually Janty designed and named the first non cig sized PV the eGo- not JoyeTech. Just giving credit where credit is due.

What I like about this pencil case is the outside is laminated and the inside is lined with nylon fabric and it's padded. It also has two pockets on the outside, one that has a flap and velcro and the other side a zippered pocket. I made this smaller one:

It's only big enough to hold two 1100mAh batteries so I don't use it as often.
