VV or VW might be nice , but many of us don't use it, so to tell anyone they have to have it is wrong. Many of us like and prefer mechanical mods.

I never meant to imply that having a mechanical is wrong. Just the VV is a lot more beginner-friendly. How many of us had any idea how voltage, resistance, wattage and all that worked right off the bat? I know I didn't.

They are only the same in the respects that they both will heat the cart, clearo or whatever you are using. There are however many reasons to have a mechanical. The most important to me is being able to fix it.

Read through the forums, how many people drop the pv's or put them through the washer, or let them go swimming in coffee, just to name a few of the thread I have read. You do that with most of these vv or vw out and you are buying a new mod, yes you should have a backup, but what about when it is charging or if it breaks.

A lot of us don't have vape shops near by, which means waiting on orders to come in, and we just all know the usps is always so helpful and on time and never loses a package.

With a mechanical wash it in hot water let it dry and you are good to go.

Don't get me wrong here I like and see that mechanical mods have a place but not for a noob at all. There is way to much to learn. My biggest reason I would not recommend them to a noob is because of the battery's there is no protection there unless you add it. I don't think most noobs would know the difference between a protected and un-protected cell let alone why not to over discharge. I am not bashing mec mods at all just would not tell a noob to get one.

wouldn't that be a reason for a beginner NOT to get VV?

I started with eGo's wanted more vapor, so dropped to LR on it... then learned how VV worked and picked one up... THEN learned a lot more about VV...

Seems to me that it would be better to have a basic understanding of VV before diving in.
