Make sure that you get batteries from a reliable source, especially if they're AW's.
Found a site where I got my 18490 batteries, I know there aren't knockoffs (fakes) because these batteries are recommended for one of the best (& most expensive) mods in the industry, ProVari. If you're looking for 18650's, here they are.

Took me only 2 business days to receive, from Washington State to North Carolina.
Here are the AW 18490's for anyone who is interested.

As long as the ProVape site exists, I'll grab my AW's there, as expensive & popular as their mods are, they're not going to seal the deal with a crappy battery.
Do Not buy AW's on eBay unless you know the vendor, there are plenty of fakes in this brand.
For a charger, avoid anything that says "Fire" in the name, as surely they'll cook them. I made this mistake with my first pair of AW's, never again. Am now using an Efest LUC V2, has two independent charging slots with a digital readout & blinking charge indicator.
It's essential to purchase a multimeter. Around here. Harbor Freight Tools was giving out coupons for a Free Centech digital model, that's good enough, but if one finds one of these in a store, pay no more than $7 for it. It's important to measure your batteries as soon as they come off the charger & whenever they feel like they're running low.
If your AW's come off the charger with more than 4.25 volts, it's too much. Buy a decent charger. I have my charge rate mine set on 0.5A, there's a choice of that or 1A.
Hope this helps.
