Hi, I have just joined this site. E-cigs are new to me. I have been using Blu since November 2013. Have many issues w/batteries and cartridges. While customer service is happy to replace with no charge, I would rather pay and have a product that works. Any suggestions for an e-cig that has good battery power and good cartridges? I need a system that has a battery pack so that I can charge on the road as I am a sales rep and not always near an outlet or car charger. I might try the Blu 100's since they claim to have good battery power, but that only comes in black and I would prefer a white battery. As it is, I feel like I am smoking a ball point pen. I did try the njoy dispo and that configuration most nearly matched the feel of an analog in that there is a "paper" feel to it. However, it lasted only a few puffs and then went dead. Also, I don't think they have much to offer in rechargeable and/or battery packs. It looks like the V2 might be a possibility since they do offer a battery pack. Any suggestions? I'm not an advanced user, so just looking for something I can order "off the rack" and something that is as close in size to an analog that offers consistent quality.

Yup...Blu's are junk! They introduced me to the world of vaping, so I give them credit for that, but otherwise they are pretty worthless. The disposables are ok, but what does it say about a product when the disposable version is better than the "real" version? It should be the other way around, but then again we live in a disposable society anymore, and even the "real" Blu's (meaning the rechargeable kits) are disposable junk!

You would have a MUCH better vape experience with a larger kit. If you had a large enough tank and battery then running out of juice or battery charge wouldn't even really be an issue. And it's easy enough to carry a spare battery (18650 lasts about a day anyway) and a bottle of juice to top off the tank if need be. All worth it imo, for a superior vaping experience. It can't be had with those junk cig-a-like kits from ANY manufacturer!

If you are looking for a cigarette style I really like the Smokeless Image Volt. You can get the battery's in just about any color you want. They also have 25% off with the code VOLTLOVE until the end of the day today for valentines day. Electronic Cigarettes | Smokeless E-Cigs | Smokeless Image The carts from blu are not compatible but the volt ones are refillable just look up "filling a cartomizer" on youtube. It is pretty easy and is way more cost effective.

I do hate to say it, but an eGo would give you greater battery longevity and a more consistent experience. However, if you feel like you're sucking on a ball point pen now, that would be a Sharpie marker.

Bloog and Volt are two very good brands of cig-alike, and both are 808 threaded so will take any 808 battery case. That thread quoted above has plenty of great recommendations.

There are a number of good cig-a-likes out there as pointed out by the replies above. You may wish to make the jump to an Ego/Evod style battery at this point for even better performance.

I would also have to agree that an ego is a better option but that is simply my opinion. When I first started vaping I tried the njoy. please save your money and don't even mess with that one. I also got a pretty nice starter kit from v2. The problem I had with them is battery death. The two that originally came with the kit died in a couple of months. They come with a one year warranty so I called customer service and they sent me two more batteries no questions asked. But after a couple of months those batteries died too. plus I didn't like having to always be charging them since they discharge pretty quickly just as all cigalikes do. It was then that I decided I needed something that would last. I got a Kgo starter kit with two 1100mah batteries and charger and cortos. What a huge difference. thy hold a charge ALL day. sometimes two if I'm not vaping as much. They felt odd at first because of the size and having to push a button to get a puff but that oddness went away in less than a week. I've had them for over a year and they seem to be running just as strong as the day I got them.

I would +1 the Smokeless Image products. It is a good starting point and they have other products that if you chose to upgrade a little, you could do that and the other products on the site would be compatible (for the most part). You can get your white battery and I am pretty sure you can choose the color of the LED light. They also sell a portable battery charger that holds a few batteries and a few pre-filled cartomizers (filter part).

As others have stated, the threading is 808 so if you wanted to move to a eGo, you would then have to purchase new stuff or an adapter.
