I'm guilty of being a weirdo finger button guy too. I use both, but mostly the XL manual. I wish they made a carrying case for XL's. Speaking of which, can you use the carrying case for manuals? I heard the button gets pushed and the battery drains. Seems like you could put it in at an angle though, but I don't have a reg manual to try it.

No problem with using Manuals in our carrying case.

I really like my xl manual, in fact just got another one -would be great to have a case though
I obviously am not concerned with it looking like an analog as I have a purple xl and usually vape smilin menthol and peppermint-of coarse I wear miss matched socks as well
Thanks for all your help, I seem to get such a better th off the manual that I figured I was doing something wrong with the autos

Would an xl battery in auto prime easier than a shorty because stronger battery? If that is a stupid question, just ignore it

I personally don't really like the shorty batteries because of there low battery life and losing OMPF after several puffs. I used to think XL batteries give a better hit, but in my opinion regular size batts and XL's are equal in power, just the XL lasts considerably longer.

I'm a refiller and use nothing but autos. Tried a manual once and hated it. I guess it's all about personal preference.

i agree. i have a manual in every size, and one regular auto. the auto is all i use. the button on the manuals is positioned nowhere near where i hold a cigarette. it feels awkward. i may as well hold it in my toes.

i have no problem getting consistent hits from the auto. my method is one quick little primer puff just enuough to get the light to glow a split second, then one long slow easy draw. i'll draw easy almost to the 10 sec. flashes. i blow out a cloud that will completely obscure my monitor. it's much more enjoyable sitting at this bar right now, being able to just take a drag and exhale. ahhh

cheers!
