Hello all- forgive me if this is a stupid question but I am a newbie(that hasnt had a cigarette since Monday and today is Thursday!!!!
is there a good quality replacement battery that can fit the Cirrus 3
dont wanna pay 100 bucks for battery
I have heard that KR808D battery fits-is that correct- my batteris at first lasted 8 hours or so- now I get 4 or 5 hours out of them- is that common? where is a good place to purchase if they make a replacement
Thanks in advance

Yeah White Cloud is the hugest ripoff out there.

I think it is KR808D-1 but I will check.. I think so

And yes re power loss - if you buy auto batteries, the drag sensor can get sticky and turn off slowly, wasting charge. Or wind/vibration (like open car windows etc) can trigger many auto batteries, wasting charge. Like most people on this forum, I use and recommend manual batteries. However, over time and reuse, all batteries can start to hold charge less well. Some stuff I have read implies running a lithium ion battery to totally empty is not the best thing for it, not because of any memory effect but because it stresses the battery and can effect its longevity. I read this about the lithium ions people put in mods (dunno it it's true - was on a lithium battery site).

You can buy fat battery models with 650mah+ of charge and a KR808D-1 compatible threading like PigCig from leCig, Elegant Easy from CigEasy, Kanger version of Vgo (not sure who sells that). If you want super-long battery charge then that is one way to go.

You can also get a 3.7v or variable voltage mod and put an 808 adapter on it for long charge and a good voltage for KR8 stuff. I am working on doing that so I will have the real 3.7v (just like a KR8 battery) but with very long charge. I got a little box mod w/ 510 threading and got a 510 to 808 adapter. Just waiting on the batteries and charger.

$119 for a single battery??? For that kind of money you could buy an entire starter kit and then some from Vapor4Life or an Ultimate Starter Kit from Bloog.

They're KR808D-1. You can buy from either of the vendors I mentioned, but Bloog is a bit more expensive.

It sound like you're using them a lot and that might explain the decrease in performance, but most quality batteries shouldn't have such a quick decline.

And today is Friday unless I've entered some sort of time warp. LOL! Congrats on FOUR days smoke free and welcome to ECF!

Welcome and Congrats! There are MANY different options. Browse the forum suppliers and look at their websites. There are cig look alikes to cigar shaped that have bigger batteries all the way to mods. Mods come in all shapes and sizes. They use either a 3.7v battery, or a 3.7/6v with stacked batteries, 5v or variable volt/power. There are so many choices, best to look around see what piques your interest. If you see something interesting, check reviews here or ask any question you need, people here ate very helpful.
