Batteries for lava tube

Want to add some spare batteries for my new lava tube.
First question, the battery that came with it is a IMR 18650 flat top. I have had very little success finding this battery on the web. The AW IMR 18650 with the button top is avail. In a lot of places, but does the button top make it too long?
Second question concerns the mAH number, the original battery is a 1600mAh, but there are a lot of 18650 style batteries that are 2400mAh or 3100mAh. What does mAh mean?

The Lavatube was designed for the AW IMR 18650 battery which do have a button on top. As long as you get the AW IMR 18650, 1600 mAh battery, they will work. The other batteries you mentioned are not IMR batteries and, if they are protected, they will probably not fit the Lavatube.

mAh = mili Amp hour; it basically measures the amount of energy stored in a battery. Generally speaking 100 mAh = one hour of average vaping. The higher the mAh, the longer a battery will last.

AW IMR 18650

This battery is what you need. It does have a small flat botton on top but works just fine in the Lavatube (I have 3 of these) Do not go with the black imr batteries as they are protected and a little bit longer and will keep the end from screwing on completely. (I also have two of these for another mod and have tried them)

Unfortunately, RTDVapors is out of stock which you may find at other places as well. Just keep checking back, they should have then in stock again soon.

Good luck!:vapor:
