Been shopping around for an iTaste SVD with the iClear 30s (heard a lot of good things about them) and finally found a kit for $60 here!
Now I just need batteries. I've decided I want 18500 batts to keep the size down and the power up! May break down and get some 18650s for my long trips later on, but not yet.
Anyways, I found these. As far as I understand Sanyo is the same as Panasonic, correct? This is my first time buying batteries, so although I've tried to do a lot of reading I still don't know squat!
If you can't get to the link they are Sanyo UR18500FK 18500 1700mAh 3.7V and are Li-Ion.
Please let me know of any dangers or problems these could potentially give me!
Also, I need a charger. I've been told to stay away from TrustFire. Other than that, I have no clue.
The help is greatly appreciated, vape on!

Sanyo is a decent quality battery, however to the best of my knowledge 18500 batteries are protected batteries. Being that the iTaste SVD is a regulated APV that uses boost circuit technology to produce variable voltage, you'd want high drain IMR batteries which are 18490 size.

I could be wrong with the above information concerning those Sanyo batteries being protected, the vendor in your link does not specify them as being protected or IMR. However, if you look at the different 18490 batteries (all are IMR) and 18500 batteries (all are protected) sold by RTD Vapor, it seems to validate my information. Genuine AW Batteries at RTD Vapor

In addition, AltSmoke sells the Innokin iTaste SVD and has this in the description concerning batteries:

"The unit itself can be used with either an 18350, 18490 (18500), or an 18650. We hear there may be issues with using these with Ultrafire/Trustfire batteries (protected batteries - italics mine) so we recommended to use these with AW or eFest IMR Batteries." http://altsmoke.com/starterkit/innokin-svd/innokin-svd-mod.html

Concerning chargers, I always suggest that people buy the best charger that they can reasonably afford, it will pay dividends in the long run. Any of the higher end chargers over $30 should assure getting a safe, good charger. Pila, Nitecore, and Xtar. http://www.rtdvapor.com/online-store/battery-chargers
