Oh ok....well , im passing on the tip... I may study these awhile and decide if i want the brass additions....already decided on the 901 as usual.

thats what I'm doing. maybe brass? lol

I'm 510ing...as usual. :)

honestly, I don't mind the wait.
I just want a super reliable, quality 3.7v mod. if I have to wait, so be it.

I've seen some gray ones on there, didn't know the difference, mine are blue like those. Not sure if they are the same, but look like it.

sku 03435 - these https://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.03435
other sku's at deal extreme look identical (same brand, both protected, same mAh, ect) but you will notice a very slight price difference.

sku 03435 fit better in the protege b/c they are slightly smaller.
its not by much but it makes all the difference in the world sometimes.

even besides that the sizes of these can be inconsistent from my experience, but these sku's def fit the protege the best.
(thanks trustfire for makes things more difficult. lol)

idk what fits the super 6 the best, but maybe all of the 14500 trustfires fit it. ( I don't own and S6 yet)

But hey I guess I'm making it a bigger deal than it is.
I'm a bit of a perfectionist it seems.
Maybe thats why I'm interested in Super T. ;)

I've ordered the CR2 (aka 15270) batteries at 600mAh, are these ok ? I know nothing about batteries.

What would be the difference between the 600mAh and the 800mAh ?

Mah ratings are subjective and vary brand to brand, so they may well be the same. The s6 takes one protected 14500 or two 3.0 volt cr2's.

Super Six in 3.7V configuration uses a single 14500 3.7V battery:

Protected Lithium Ion Batteries (900 mAh): DealExtreme: $3.99 TrustFire 14500 3.7V 900mAh Rechargeable Lithium Batteries (2-Pack)

Hmm...
Those ones are unprotected. ( Atleast the description doesn't state 'Protected' )

I read the 1st review on those also, the guy recommended these instead.

www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.26124

That review makes me wanna choose those instead.
Any thoughts on the recommended batteries?

I've got the gray, red/black, and blue ones (900mAh), and the blue ones are far superior in my experience. It's just something I started noticing when using one kind, then the other kind, etc. I will trade all my gray and my red/black ones for all blue ones if anybody's got those. :D

The 3.7V 14500s seem easy enough to find 'Protected' but.....

CR2s 'Protected' ..they don't seem to exist ><

Last thing I need is an unprotected battery exploding like a grenade next to my face.

:|

Praying someone states that CR2s are safe unprotected!

:nun:

I don't think anyone will claim that as there has been some failures in a couple of mod's with those batteries. I am unsure of what Brand they were however. I'd recommend sticking with the 14500 protected.:)
