Batteries Shmatteries: 18650 excuses why my battery is better than yours

The Sony vtc5's that I bought have the same 30 amp rating as the vtc4 's but has higher mah, so to me, spec wise at least, the 5 is the superior battery. I'm confused as to why everyone seems to like the 4's better. What am I missing?

@Topwater Elvis is right, the VTC5 is a 20A battery. At 25A its temperature is almost 100°C. At 30A it's getting close to the temp at which it can vent.

The VTC4 can be used up to 30A without it getting dangerously hot. It's the classic tradeoff, more current = less capacity. Nothing for free when it comes to batteries.
