Batteries that fit in an adaptever

I need a change out soon but I'm not sure what to buy. When I got the device originally I got 4 900mah trustfire protected 16340s which didn't fit. The 500mah LiMN's work great, but they're only 500mah and they're quite expensive. I've looked at LiFPO4's, but they seem to be 3.0, not 3.7V's. The adaptever site tells what length and diameter fit but that's not particularly useful when ordering online.

So how's about it? What can I use for 3.7 V vaping on the adaptever?

the middle length body is certainly the best choice as it will fit a single 14500 900 mAh 3.7v Trustfire battery (for 3v vaping) or 2 x TR15270 600 mAh 3v Ultrafire batteries (for 6v vaping).

the TR15270 batts are sold as “CR2″ on the website though.

That seems unlikely since unprotected xx340's fit pretty tight, and some protected xx340s dont fit at all. An extra 16 mm of length (xx500) certainly won't fit.

I've used the spiderfire 16340's from deal extreme for over a year now. They have all worked fine and still do. They are also really cheap

According to the cached version of AdapteveR's web site, the AdapteveR PV was designed to use 16340 Protected or 17340 LiFePO4 batteries. With the optional HV sleeve it will run at 6v with two CR123 batteries.

Super charge your AdapteveR with a High Voltage Sleeve. This sleeve gives you the ability to use (2) 3.0V, CR123 batteries for a total of 6 Volts of power. Please use protected or LiFePO4 CR123 batteries... The HVS CR123 X2 was designed for them and certain "shorter" non protected CR123 Li-ion cells may not fit.

Yeah, I know, but Trustfire protected 16340s don't fit, and I'm trying to avoid buying batteries that don't fit again.

That's a good tip chuckie, and I will order some, but are there any US-based supliers? I don't think the AW's I have will last another month. What were the ones on the Adaptever website before it went down? I wanna say 880 mah Ultrafire protected 16340's, but I'm not sure.

Apparently Liberty Flights carries or carried the AdaptEver mod. From their web site:

The AdapteveR 3.7v supports CR123 batteries with lengths from 1.300" ~ 1.420" or 33mm ~ 36mm.

BatteryJunction.com sells Ultra Fire 16340 3.6V. Also VaporFlow.com sells the same thing in a 3.7V. Either can be used. They are all 880 mAh. I have three AdapteveR users in my house. I got my first one in September or October of last year. Now my husband and son both have one as well. Up until recently, I had only purchased them from BatteryJunction But I found VaporFlow carries them. They are cheaper and ship very fast. HEADS UP. VaporFlow sells the protected AND the unprotected batteries. Be sure to always get the protected. They cost a little more than unprotected but hey, they won't blow up in your face either.

I see the Trustfire ones on vaporflow but not the ultrafires (maybe they're out of stock). Do the protected trustfires fit in your adaptever, because they don't fit in mine? I'll probably go with the protected ultrafires on batteryjunction and cross my fingers that they'll fit.

Disregard all my previous posts. The ultrafire and trustfire protected 16340's fit, you just have to remove the atomizer before you screw them in, otherwise the atomizer pushes the center pin in too far to fully engage the threads. Somehow I went 5 months before figuring this out.
