I never made any claim.

This was the original claim. So far all the replies have been assumptions and hearsay.

I've asked MXJO which cells they use in their 18650 "35A" batteries, still waiting for a reply. If they ever answer, I will be sure to let you know.

As for you taking the wrapper off and seeing no visual signs/markings that does not indicate anything. I've taken a wrapping off a purple efest 2100mah and found no visual markings of any type, but you have no problem accepting that as a rewrapped VTC4. "No question about purple efests as rewrapped vtc4s because someone actually showed it."

They may not be re-wrapped HE2s, logic would dictate they are, but lets get passed that. I think we can both agree on the fact that they are overpriced, and marketed in a misleading manner.

I unraveled the mxjo and revealed no signs of LGhe2: FACT

When the purple Efest 18650 2100mAh 30 amp battery was first placed on the market, it was found that it was a re-wrapped Sony 18650 Vtc4 2100mAh 30 amp battery. I've since heard rumors that Efest may be using other cells in this battery, so being that it IS Efest I would not assume this battery is always going to be a Sony Vtc4. Having said that, I do use two of these batteries (button tops) in my Provari and Silver Bullet.

Indeed, another reason to be vary of these rewraps (I do have several of the purple 18350s though and they have been great).
