batteries?

So, I was wondering if any other battery would fit in the yet to be made metal 18490. I got a pair of aw imr 18490's but I'm not a fan of these type. I've been using Trustfire ( the flame ones) in my mini and am quite satisfied. I tried the aw imr 14500 but didn't like them. So, are there any batteries other than the recommended aw imr's that would fit? Thanks again.

Woodvil 18490 is the name of the mod. I'd stick with the 18490 batteries if I owned one.

The Black AW 18490's protected Battery's work as well.

Other then that I do now know of any other battery other then a 18490 that will fit the mod.

The AW 18490 & 18500 are an exceptional Batt, could you please say why you dont like them ?
Makes me wonder if you happen to get a pair of the bootleg copies that have been floating around ? Also what charger are you using please ? And just say what issue your having with the AW Please ? There just isnt a higher quality and better IMR and Lithium IC Batt on the market today.

i have 2 reos that take 14500s and one that takes 18490s. the 18490 has taken over and my 14500s see little action anymore..

I got the aw imr 14500 from super t and I have a pila charger. To me, they don't seem to last very long and the vapor is the same. I work 12 hour shifts and battery life is important to me. The grand is too big for my hands but I'm thinking I could handle a metal 18490. Thanks!

IMR batteries need to be discharged/recharged 4 or 5 times before they achieve their optimum capacity. Just don't discharge below 3.5 volts is the conventional wisdom.
