I just received some purples yesterday so I have both. At 75% of the amp limit with a fully charged purple battery (4.2 volts), you can use a 0.16 ohm build, which would be 110.25 watts! On the Sony VTC4, safe amp draw is 30 amps * 0.75 = 22.5 amps, which allows a 0.19 ohm build at 94.5 watts. The sony also has less mAh at 2100 so the purple ones seem better in every way.

No info on the internal resistance of the purple Efests yet, though (if someone has the information, please enlighten me). The Sony VTC4s could therefore be better for subohms. I use the Sonys but recently ordered some Samsung INR18650-20Rs as they're supposed to have even lower internal resistance than the Sonys. I also have a bunch of Panasonic PFs but they don't seem to last much longer than the VTC4s even though they have a higher mAh-rating. Would also like to point out to the op that there are several different green Sonys so make sure the ones you get are VTC4s.
