Caterpiller, you're short changing yourself if you charge that soon. The rated voltage is 3.7. You've barely used a tad over half the capacity if you charge that soon.

But it is also more gentle on a battery to charge from 3.6v than it is from 3.2v. In my mechs 3.7v is about where I loose my optimal vape so pull them and put in a fresh battery. I've got VTC4s that are still going strong even with the abuse at the 0.3 to 0.5ohm range I was doing with my cloud chasing. Thus yes these year old VTC4s don't get much more stress than 8 to 12 watts output in regulated mods and not in my mechs. *Shrugs*

Yes, I try not to stress my batteries. I've got 3 matched pairs dedicated to my Vapor Flask, so it' no trouble for me to pull them out a bit early.

I get a good two days vaping from 4.2-3.7v, and then swap them out.

My setups are normally around 0.6ohms, but I only get through 4ml of juice a day on average.

It's one of the reasons I stick with 12mg juice, so I don't constantly have the drip tip in my mouth like a pacifier :)

I can relate to that. I always carry at least three spare batteries for every setup I have with me (I generally buy batteries in fours), I have a charger at home, and a charger at work (just in case) and usually swap out batteries around the 50% mark.

What I'm "losing" in battery run time, I'm making up for in battery life.

How long does it take to charge 18650 batteries
Way too long if it's a new set of batteries for a new mod that you are waiting to use:D
Seriously though it depends on the charger and the battery capacity. Got some brand new HE4s yesterday, took probably 3.5 hours or so. Note that those came partly charged, started at around 3.65v according to my charger. So it can take quite awhile.

If you only have one battery and you're waiting for it to recharge, it takes a loooong time.
You need enough spare batteries to be able to do a slow gentle charge. Saving a lot of grief in many ways. backup, backup, backup. Including batteries.

My XTAR 4 bay charger charges at 0.5A or 1.0A. So that would be about 5 hours and 2.5 hours respectively, depending on capacity, maybe 4/2 since typically a 2200 or 2500 mAh battery will only take about 2000 mAh charge in my experience (AW IMR and Samsung 25R INR). I charge at 0.5A whenever possible and have enough batteries that I'm rarely in a hurry.
