Recently got hold of a SkyRC MC3000 charger @DaveP, still getting used to setting it up properly but it's got pretty much everything you need.

Really like the charging profiles that you can create.

So I can charge my LG HB6 at 0.8A, couldn't do that with my Nitecore SC4.

I have half a dozen lithium chargers and my favorites are the Efest LUC4 and the xtar VC4. I'll have to agree that tech is advancing. Finer graduations in charger tuning are allowing charge rates to be set with finer gradations.

1A is my standard charge rate. If you are rotating cells in and out of the charger and your mod, you won't need a battery change before the charger is though, anyway. I get barely detectable warmth from 1A charging. If I read it with an infrared thermometer gun after removing it from a charger it's barely above room temp.

I just read a Sanyo NCR2070C 20700 with an infrared thermo, and it measured 85.4 F on a LUC2 at 1.0A charging.

I had never thought to do that before.
