Battery Airflow increased?

Has the airflow increased recently?

I ordered a short auto battery and the airflow is so high that its difficult to vape. It takes in about four times the air than my previous batteries, and the Battery doesn't fire unless I rapidly draw in air.

I have 4 that do that as well. I am thinking about using something to permanently cover a couple of the air holes.

So the airflow hasn't changed, it's just a questionable battery.

The airflow seems to have improved after a few days now (it probably a bit clogged up now lol), so I'll see how it goes.

I just got 2 like this from the classifieds. I noticed one had one hole that was larger than the other 2. The other looked normal.
I took a plastic glue and loaded one hole on each shut, ust enough to seal the hole. So far it's worked on the first batt. Glue is still setting on second.

I'm going to try a dab of silicone and see how that goes.

Workarounds have been addressed repeatedly historically. A trip to google may well be in order.

I am no longer a fan of permanently plugging any of the airflow holes as they will get gunked up in due course. When I get one that's too airy I cover 1 or 2 of the holes with a small piece of tape. It's quick and simple to use until the batteries get seasoned a bit.

Perhaps these are the new Sound activated batts instead of vacuum(as has been discussed before)?
