Got my package today, that was quick thanks Tony!

I noticed something strange with the red battery I received though. When I opened the box it was in, I noticed the LED was lit. As I took it out of the plastic wrapper, the LED lit up randomly a few times more.. I thought maybe it needed to be charged, so I put it in the PCC and charged it. However, it stopped charging only after a few minutes.

I took the battery out and as I was doing so, the LED again randomly lit up a couple more times.

Just wondering what the issue is with that.

Otherwise, everything looks good! Already tried it out (the black auto), and it works surprisingly well straight out of the box. Quite a neat little device these things are.

Oh, one other thing I'm wondering.. the rubber plugs that came with the kit, for closing the ends of the cartridges.... they don't fit. They only go in a small amount before hitting the foil/filler. Is that the way they're supposed to work? Seems like they'll pop off pretty easily that way.

I have new caps being that that will be the perfect length, the factory does not make any caps, so I have to get them made myself. You need to cut the ends a few mm, and then they will work perfect in the PCC.

This is normal with the auto batteries, they use a mic switch, and pulling the batteries out the plastic wrapper will activate them. You can blow on the tip (led), and you will notice that the battery will activate.

I use the autos all the time, and this should not an issue 90% time. The light might come on if you set them down. You will encounter some issues if you try and take the auto batteries to a loud nightclub, the deep bass can trigger them off. You also don't want to keep a fully assembled auto in your pocket, as the movements of you walking around could activate them.

This is why the manual battery is so popular, it will only activate when you push the button. The manual battery is not effected by loud noise, and i gives you total control.

Thanks for the quick answers Tony! :)

I was wondering if perhaps the noise of the plastic was triggering the battery, so I guess that explains it.. though it was doing it when there didn't seem to be any noise (just taking it out of the PCC), but I'll keep an eye on it in any case. I am glad I got the hybrid kit though, at least I can bring the manual battery with my when I go out if the auto is too sensitive.

I'll go ahead and use an exacto knife to trim off the tips of the caps. Are you going to announce it on here when you get the new caps in stock? I'll be ordering a bunch.

Almost all the time when you open the pcc, the auto light will breifly light up. I am not sure why, but this normal. It is normal for the light to come on breifly.at times . You should not have any issues with the light staying activated for longer than 1~2 sec unless you are at a loud club-bar

Air pressure. Opening and closing the PCC can cause a slight suction inside the PCC and trigger the battery. Just like putting in and pulling it out of the PCC will also trigger the battery.

Its just like blowing into it.

I see it all the time. Waving the battery around would have the same effect. The reason sound triggers the battery is because sound is just vibrations.
