Battery & Button Springs Same?

Recently I bought both brass Battery and Button springs
They both look exactly the same to me
Are they the same part now?
The battery springs used to have one end with slightly tighter coils.

I just received some and they are different - the battery springs have the tighter coil at one end.

I looked quickly and they looked the same. But if you take a closer look as Big said, there is a tighter/smaller coil at one end of the batt spring.

Yes,

Imeo made a change to the design of the button spring, it is now longer and more similar to the battery springs. The difference is that the battery springs are tapered at one end, we try and label the baggies they come in for ya'll so you can know the difference.

I personally think that the new button springs really give a nice throw to my buttons, I like to have a firm switch press... just a preference hah (as was Imeos ideas behind the new spring methinks)

COV sent me button springs when I ordered battery springs
I just had to reorder battery springs and am hoping they get it right this time
Who knows when or if they will be available again once they are gone

button and battery springs are not the same. Battery spring is conical when button spring is straight tob
