I just now got into mods and bought a 10$ single charger that takes like 16 hours to charge from 3.5 to full. I need something that charges way faster. I'm looking to buy a good quality charger around 20-40$. I have done a little research and 2 have caught my attention. The efest luc v4 and the nitecore. Any other suggestions?

Nitecore, Xtar and Pila are the most often recommended chargers on this forum.
I have a Nitecore and a single-bay Xtar and they are both great.
While 16 hours is indeed excessive, generally you don't want to charge your batteries too fast. Slow is good.

I've got a nitecore that I rarely use, and a Pila charger that's my main charger. The thing that I don't like about my nitecore is the spring loaded end. I've had the battery casing rip on that style before...and that makes me sad.
The Pila charger is designed to fit an 18650, but has little attachment screws that can take it down for a 18500, or 14500. It's only a 2 bay, but it has a sort of blast shield over the top.
