does charging a battery (specifically the new 18350 AW IMRs) slower increase performance at all? I've found some people saying yes and some saying no...any for sure answer one way or the other?

As long as you are charging within AW's Input Current spec you should not have a problem.

That's similar to asking if filling up your gas tank will make your car go further.

Typically, an 18350 battery should be charged slower than an 18490/18500 or 18650. This would mean charging at a lower amp setting on the charger. Charging smaller batteries at a fast rate is unhealthy for the battery.

I'm not sure if the "new" AW 18350 batteries carry the same recommendations.
