Will a Volcano battery charge in the Blu PCC?

No, the polarity is reversed.

Yes it will, we are doing that happily without problems. If there is some polarity problem, I'd think it would fry the PCC. The blu and Volcano are pretty interchangeable, even the atty's and carts.

So many people have "heard" that blu batts have reverse polarity. Just stick a volt meter in it and find out!

Yes they are negative center. Just metered it.

I put a volcano carto on my blu batt 100 and it went wacko.....turning on by itself????

I'm not sure why that would be.....Ive used volcano carto's on my blu's before and that's never happened. Now then....AFAIK the Blu batteries (at least the 4 i have) still work off the microphone and not the suction. Is it possible that there was enough noise that it started up and the volcano carto's do "sizzle" quite a bit? How long did it stay on for?

Still not sure why the battery went crazy but I did have to adjust the batt on the volcano carto to get it to work. Somehow when I screwed the vol. carto on my blu, they weren't connecting correctly which I believe caused the malfunction of the blu batt???? It stayed on indefinately until I put it back in the charging dock in the pcc pack?? But as soon as I put a blu carto on it.....the light would come on and activate the carto?? Sent it back to blu, they are sending me another one!!

Most likely a good idea. Sounds like something awry the minute you put a carto on there. Good luck!!
