I originally bought a White Tornado kit, and the paint finish feels more like ceramic than it does rubber.
The pictures of the Platinum battery and cone made it look like they were painted with a metallic paint, much like automotive paint.
However, they both have a rubbery texture to them. This is actually what I thought the White ones would feel like.
Additionally, I also have a dead Black battery that has the same ceramic-like texture as the White.
So.... has the paint/finish been changed in the last month or so?
While I like the feeling of the Platinum better than the White and Black ones that I have, I was rather looking forward to a glossy metallic paint finish.
