Battery Contacts

Hi everybody,
im currently making a mod and was wondering where i can get myself some battery contacts (18500) and also what material should i get, Stainless, Brass, Gold? i dont want copper because i would have to polish. Thank you for your time!!!

Are you looking for a bat sled, or raw materials to make them from? A lot of better hobby stores that deal with home made rc airplanes will have great selections of brass stock inround and flats. I just go my many piles of junk and find something close enough, then chuck it in the lathe and go to work. There is a dedicated modding forum here on ECF, Im sure you could get better imput from the guys that are modding their stuff 24/7. I just made a round brass contact for a ELA from a peice of brass from a junk lamp that worked great.

No not a sled but more of a clamp, like some type of clamp that grabs the negative and positive side of the battery. But thanks on the input!
