Ive got some 18650's that are in need of disposal. Can I toss them in the trash or not?
If not, what is the proper way to dispose of them?

I always dispose of them at a local electronic waste recycling center. Best buy, Home Depot, Sears, Target and Wal-Mart also accept lithium batteries. Call2Recycle is a fantastic resource as well.
