One of my batteries - the tip does not light and when I connect to cartridge it makes like this sizzling sound like its frying my atomizer or something. The company I purchased it from said its probally e-ligud in it and to get a can of compressed air and blow it out.

Does this sound like what is wrong with it? If was fine the night before and then in the morning it was like this. The battery is only a couple weeks old.

Thanks,

If it is doing that - sounds like battery maybe stuck on, be very careful with it. Leave the atty OFF except when testing, those things can get quite hot. If blowing it out doesn't help, be sure to contact the vendor and get a replacement. And look into trying/getting manual batteries. If you have a volt meter, check to be sure that only the button will turn it on.

K well the "blow out with compressed air did not work" after I used the compressed air I connected the battary to the charger - it acted like it was charging properly.. I was getting excited, this is going to work. Well when it said it was done charging. When connected nothing no vapor no light nada. Weird thing is when I disconnected the battery and just let it sit the tip would flash 5 times about every 30 seconds.

Anyrate - the company I purchased it from is sending me out a replacement.

Auto batteries are a bit of a boobytrap for beginners. Probably one of the reasons many ripoff rebranders have super-jacked-up prices on single batteries.

Auto batteries are totally dependent on a drag sensor right inside the hole in the end of the battery so they are more easily killed by juice leaks. Some manual batteries still have a hole on the end so juice could still get in there but it would take more to kill the battery. Some manuals like 510 are totally sealed on the end and extremely safe for use with refilled cartomizers and dripping method on an atomizer.
