Unusual Behavior from 901?

I purchased my 901 from TW, and have had it for 5 days. From the onset, it would keep the atomizer energized after taking a draw, then flash 9 times. After it does this the LED will not illuminate, and the atomizer will not heat until I blow through the mouth piece, tap the LED on my desk, or remove & reinstall the battery.

This occurs after every cartridge change or refill, and seems to taper off by the time the cartridge is about half full. I am not drawing for over 5 seconds - a very small puff will set this phenomenon into motion. I have tried cleaning the contacts, poking around inside the battery hole with a paper clip, tapping the LED end on my desk, and blowing through the battery side with a compressed air can, and so far nothing has cured the problem. I love my e-cig, but this is quite annoying, and I fear that the atomizer will have a short life - due to the sizzling it produces when this occurs. It probably does this 8 or 10 times for every cartridge refill.

Is this a defect, and should I ask TW for a replacement.

One thing I think that could be causing that is not just a 5 second draw, those 4075 atomizers get hotter than the real 901's and I think it over heats and blinks and shuts down for a few also. That's what I've noticed. I'll just pull the cartridge off and that thing is smoking red and so I pull it off and then put back on and then it vapes again.

I just brought mine in from the mail box. I also ordered it from TW. I haven't tried it yet. But, I am so aggravated. I loved the sleek look of it in a review video (Spikey's) but I don't know were she got ers. But TW put their devil logo on the atomizer!! I had no idea they would do that or I wouldn't have bought it from them. Ihave nothing against them choosing that for their own logo but I don'twant an e-cig with a devil picture on it personally. The kicker is I ordered extra atomizers. I will use these of course, but I will order some from someone else for sure. I'll have to go back to their site and see if it is pictured that way. I was oping it was removeable but I am afraid if I tried, it would ruin the finish. I ope I don't have te issue wit them that you 2 are having. I'll post if I do.

I spoke too soon. I lost my first atomizer with TW in just 10 days and I'm upset because I have taken extra good care of it so I pulled out the spare I ordered from them and it was dead upon arrival. I have a email into the company to see if they will take care of this. I sure hope so because I think they have the best liquids and I like the company.

Are you saying that TW doesn't use the real 901 atomizers, but 4075's?

Also, I only have some older models of e-cigs currently. Mainly the Yentyl by Janty. It is the length of this 901 but it has 3 pieces--the battery, atomizer, and cartridge. The cartridge has polyfill to drip liquid into. This 901 seems to have no place to put liquid. I know this must be a stupid question, but I put this stuff away for a year because I was allergic to pg and I just found this forum and VG which I bought a bunch of, so I am out of the loop on all of these new models.

I don't remember where Spikey filled it, I need to watch tat again I guess.
